Missing parts

Good fan, missing 15 fan screws, had to go to Ace Hardware to buy 10-24 X 1/2 inch machine screws and #10 lock washers.

Missing parts on two fans

This fan was ordered for a remodeling job. The first had missing screws to attach the fan blades. The electrician said the second fan received to replace the first was also missing parts.

Missing hardware

I love the fan, but I went to assemble it and the bags of screws are open and we are missing several pieces. Disappointing.

Love the style and quality but was sad parts wrre missng. And light didnt work

I absolutely love this style and the quality of this ceiling fan how ever i was very sad it was missing pieces and the led light did not work. I tried to reach the company but it was sunday they were closed i will try again tomorrow it was missing the most important screws the ones that hold the fan blades. So the tech i hired to install it could not finish the job. ???? now i will have to hire him again to comw out and finish once i get ahold of Westinghouse and they can provide a replacement .

Beautiful Craftsmanship Efficient Fan

This review is for Westinghouse Lighting 7307300 Oyster Bay. I know and trust the Westinghouse brand, and I really liked this fans feature set. This fan is extremely efficient and built well. The blades are very well built and can move a lot of air to accommodate a large room. It’s a very quiet ceiling fan. On all speed modes, it’s basically inaudible. Instillation. Unfortunately, this fan doesn’t come with a flush mount. It has a long sturdy rod-type mount that may work better with high ceilings. PROS It has an LED light built-in, which is an expensive upgrade on many fans LED is dimmable Easy installation Can be installed on a downrod or flush-mount Remote Control with many features CONS Missing pieces ???? ???? Now onto instillation, I had this fan installed and it was a simple process following the instructions. The electrician got to the fan blades and that's where the only issues arose. There were no bolts to attach the fan to the housing in the packaging. I emailed customer service and they were extremely diligent in offering a solution. Unfortunately the bolts were out of stock at their warehouse so the customer service representative offered a whole new fan off of their website. I did find bolts to work at Lowes for just a few dollars.

Missing hardware, difficult installation.

This fan was a pain to install, and we couldn't even finish because 16 screws from step #14 are missing! Additionally, in all my partner's 16 years of installing fans and lighting, he said this was the most difficult to install. Helping him do this was just painful, it seems the company used WAY too much wire, so you either have to try and jam it up into the base or sit there trimming all the spare wire yourself. Most fans come with an appropriate amount of wire. Also, most fans come with EXTRA pieces, not missing ones! Additionally, the screws that are missing look really specific, not something I can easily go pick up at a hardware store. This whole experience was just super disappointing. I watched the reviews for this for over a month and almost everyone was complaining about this issue, but I never got a message from anyone trying to sort out the issue. It's really such a shame, because the fan is beautiful and I love the dimmable LED light.

Ok fan but missing parts!

This fan was missing parts right out of the box. Very frustrating since I'd removed my old fan already and had to put something up or leave electrical wires hanging...I contacted customer support but haven't heard anything back. Very disappointing at this point...
