Super value and GREAT customer service story...

I ordered this and it sat unused in my garage for a year. So when I finally got around to it and unboxed the table, I saw that the fence was warped beyond usability. This may be due to my garage climate over a year. Knowing I was well beyond my return and warranty date, I contacted WEN customer service anyway - and they shipped a NEW FENCE replacement at no charge, free shipping! Fence was straightforward to install, and as described in the listing. I knew I wasn't going to get a contractor/prof grade product for this price, but very capable of handling my daily home-shop needs.

Made my Wen Drill press an easy to use for wood working

Had to modify a little to make it my own but that is not necessary it will work as is out of the box. Moved my wood working up to a new level being able to drill accurate holes.

It Rocks!!!!

Quality is great. Great features, adjustable fence, stop block and clamps. Super easy to install with the T track and clamps on the bottom. Was going to build one but just buying the materials was more than the Wen. This thing is a quality item and a bargain. Great colors too.

Mounts

I attached this table to the WEN 12" drill press. The table it self is very nice. The clamps that mount it to the drill press are not that great. I still have movement after trying different arrangements of the clamps, (I followed their instructions first). I think the knobs need to be bigger to tighten them better.

Great for the price

I looked at $400 - $600 drill press tables, but in retirement I no longer need large and expencive equipment. I just need it for an occasional hinge install or birdhouse build. Works great for me.

Very good addition as a larger table

I received this as a present along side the WEN 4214 12” drill press. I worked with this table and the drill press for a while before doing this review. The table is more then adequate in size for my use. I did assemble it backwards and didn’t realize until months later that the long flat edge should be in front (as depicted in the manual - that I missed). The clamps are a love-hate relationship since I have arthritis the small knobs really aren’t helpful when tightening. They are too small. They are also clumsy to use since the bolt is detached from the clamp housing and has to be held with the housing in order to tighten onto the table or work piece. Initially putting the table onto the metal drill press table and having it backwards, I was using the clamps on the exterior of the metal table after threading it through the table track. This secured the table but there was always some slop albeit slight. Now that I I had it backwards, I re-read the instructions to see how the clamps should be attached. According to the instructions, the bolt should be fed through the metal table through hole and the hex head fitted into the track. Right there this becomes too cumbersome. I had to re-read a couple of times to grasp this and found it to be too dramatic. After finally getting both sides in the back to accept the bolt and get the clamp housing on, which means you do the bolt first then the housing then the secure parts (again too clumsy), I tightened them and did find this to be a good snug fit. The front I just fed through the track and tightened it to the metal table. While this method is clumsy it did provide a better clamp down of the table to the metal drill press table. I was too tired after getting it attached to remove the clamps to see if it would be as secure just threading the bolts through and clamping to the underside without the bolt being fed through the metal table. It would be easier no doubt but for now it stays where it is. I’m told that if I am doing metal drilling work then I should just use the metal table that is part of the drill press. The fence and stop block aren’t unlike any other and there is a tape measure attached to the table. I’ve not had a use for the tape measure yet but have used the fence and stop block without issue. I’m sure as I use this there will be other discoveries. I am in the process of building dust collection based on someone else’s build of their WEN drill press.

T-track on fence is not standard size.

None of my clamps work on the fence. It is a non standard t-track size.

Works great with my Mastercraft Drill Presses

Being mostly a weekend DIY, I am glad I purchased the WEN DPA2513 24-by-12-Inch Drill Press Table with an Adjustable Fence and Stop Block. Helps with my Mortise and Tenon and fits perfectly on my Mastercraft Drill Press

Fantastic for installing hidden hinges

I wish I had bought this table sooner. I have been doing a lot of cupboard hinges using a plastic jig. It is so much nicer to use my drlll press and this excellent table. I build furniture and I could not build this table for what I paid. This is excellent quality for the price. The fence is accurate and easy to dial in with the scale on the table. My hinge holes turn out perfect, much better than the holes I drilled with my cheap plastic jig.

En general buena mesa, pero con2 detalles

En general es una buena mesa, no obstante y de acuerdo a mis estándares, tiene 2 detalles que modifiqué: - El inserto central está cerca de medio milímetro por debajo del resto de la mesa, tuve que agregar un aumento para llegar a paño - Las 2 cintas métricas transversales Están pegadas por encima de la melamina, tuve que retirarlas En ambos casos, tales detalles no serían significativos si se trabaja con una pieza lo suficientemente grande como para que se “apoye” de forma pareja por ambos lados, pero si se trata de una pieza pequeña, habrá una ligera inclinación con respecto a la vertical y el barreno no será perpendicular a la pieza.

Good Fit

was not sure it was worth the $100.00 but after using it wish I would have bought it a long time ago. Easy setup and was a good fit on my craftex drill press, nice to have the extra space the table provides, hold down clamps are a nice bonus.
