Great shelf

So nice I bought another one. I like that it's deep. Holds a good amount of weight without worry. Love this brand. So many options, little price.

Fits Wall Control board, but you still have to play with placement of support brackets

I originally had the 6x16” Wall Control red shelf replaced because the support brackets would not fit my Wall Control peg/slat board. After much frustration, I came to realize the openings in my board are not all uniform, thus a bracket that fits in one location may not necessarily fit in another. If you find yourself struggling like I did, try installing the brackets at different spots. Try moving over left or right or even go to a different row! It was absolutely unpredictable! What saved this shelf is that it can connect to the brackets at multiple points in 1” increments. So there are up to 15 points of contact to try your luck with! Now it looks good!

Sturdy, acceptable wobble, easy to install, but the shelf can fall off

It's quite sturdy, and I've put a lot of weight on it. That said, there's no mechanism to keep the shelf from simply falling off. It only sits on four tiny little locators. If the shelf was sat down, then slotted into the locators it would be dramatically sturdier. As of now, anything that bumps the shelf (or sticks to it) can cause the whole shelf to pop off and fall.

Bought one to test, purchasing 5 more over time, maybe a bit too pricey

I bought one to test and was extremely impressed. I mounted my Wall Control panels approximately 10 inches below the ceiling level with the intention of a adding a shelf. I originally intended a 12" shelf, but the price difference made me feel it was worthwhile to try the 6" first. I'm glad I did. It's perfect for being an out of the way addition to the organization of the panels. In my particular application I will have between 6 and 10 panels along a long wall before my project is complete, and these allow me to recover enough random flat space to make the wall organization usable at that length. I imagine I will put one at the top of each panel. They are very easy to install, secure, and sturdy. However, for the construction on these I feel they are a little overpriced, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. I feel they are premium but not as premium as the price. The locking into the Wall Control specific platform is the reason I will purchase these and the price is the reason I will not purchase any of the larger ones.

Can never have too many shelves!

I purchased two of these shelves as part of an expansion of the garage work station. While there are all kinds of hanging supports and brackets, sometimes you just need a shelf. And with this item, I'm there. Great size that doesn't stand off too far from the wall, and sturdy enough for a variety of items.

Serious shipping issues

It’s a shame, Wall Control can’t ship their products without damage. The shelf is nice but for the price it should not arrive damaged.

Very usefull for my metal peg board

This is just the right size and adapts very well to my metal peg board to store various tools , mesuring tapes or other small hardware ..

Well made but specific to a particular type of peg board. Make sure that your peg board fits this shelf - it does not work with all standard peg boards. Heavy duty construction.
