Pretty good

Full disclosure: my hair is not african/nappy/4c whatever you want to call it. Im more like a 3a curl pattern and my strands range from thin to medium weight. Im half latina & half caucasian with curly hair with a few coils mixed in. This is definitely moisturizing and gives lots of shine. No need for my hair oil I normally finish my style with. It left my hair so soft & fluffy but definitely not frizz free although it helped with frizz. It did define my curls but I just feel like it doesn’t have the holding power of my gel I’ve been using. It leaves my style much loser than my gel does which may be a good thing for 4c curls. And there’s no cast. It has a very nice scent. I have yet to try it on my extremely 4c daughter.

Ok Product

I like the cream it makes your hair soft, but what I DIDN'T like is when my package came in the mail, one of the bottles was busted open all inside of the package

Not What I was looking for.

Shipped quickly, smells nice. I almost exclusively use cowashes and prewashes on my fine, but very thick, waist length hair. My hair needs more added moisture than most products made for B1 hair. Not scalp wise but from my ears through ends. My hair is B1 but I do not have an overly oily scalp. I would say the slip on this is minimal. It was just too heavy for my hair. Weighed it down, too much oil/moisture. Better suited for C type hair, very coily hair.

Good deep conditioner but leaves a heavy moisture film!

Purchased thus to deep condition and detailed and deep condition my granddaughters waist length medium texture hair. Daily swimming in a pool with a mineral filter had left quite the buildup, with plenty of tangles. I stripped tge minerals off with clarifying shampoo and a 50-50 solution of apple cider vinegar. I used this as a 5 min. deep conditioner, and rinsed thoroughly. While it did detailed beautifully, it also left behind a heavy conditioner. It was a bit much for her hair, but I think it would be perfect for ethnic, coarse, or tightly curled hair types. It also smells wonderful. I think if you used this on fine hair, you would need to shampoo it out.

Great product for type 4 hair

I have used this line for over a year and I absolutely love it! I have type 4 kinky hair and this truly helps my hair lock in the moisture and has a beautiful luster and shine. Perfect if you wear your hair in twist/braid outs and utilize the loc method. Definitely one of my holy grails

Doesn't live up to the sample

Once again I have bought a product based on my experience with a sample and... am deeply disappointed. The sample of this was amazing. It left my hair soft and super-manageable. I hesitated to buy a full size because of the price. I tried the rest of the sample and just had to give in. Now I feel ripped off. Either the sample was a fluke or this full size is a fake. I can't tell which. This did not leave my hair soft or manageable. It didn't even do a good job conditioning my hair and I have to go back and condition with my budget-priced brand. I would send it back and still might. Just such a waste. I wish now that I had saved the sample so that I could compare the ingredients because something has to be different.
