2 IMPORTANT STEPS TO HEED BEFORE YOU BUY!!
In order to enjoy this board, you MUST buy the below two items along with the board (I'll explain further, don't worry) 1. Buy your own set of darts (18g weight or less). You can get a decent set of less than $20. 2. Buy these EXACT tips (VERY IMPORTANT) - PerfectDarts Pixel Soft Tips by Target Step one is important for the simple fact that the darts that come with the board are basically toys. They are tiny, too light, and very cheap... not even close to the quality of the cheap generic bar darts... which are garbage in themselves. I just keep them in the dart holders on the side of the board (like in the pic) because I like the way it looks. Step two is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to do in order to enjoy this board! I repeat, if you do not buy those exact tips, you will regret it immediately! I read this in another buyers review and I'm glad I listened. First and foremost the tips that come with the board are complete trash... seriously, just throw them in the garbage when you get them... do not even keep them for emergency spares. I did a lot of research on tips and most places will tell you that the best tips on the market are the Viper Tufflex III 2BA (made by the same company as this board). So, naturally I bought a set of 100 of these, they are the best right? I also bought a set of 50 of the tips mentioned in step two because I read in one of the reviews that after much trial and error they found that those tips were best for this board. After I got the board, I decided to conduct an experiment with the tips. I put a Viper Tufflex III 2BA on 1 dart, a PerfectDarts Pixel on the another, and on the third dart I put a tip that came with the board. Then, I played a game of Cricket. The tip that came with the board broke off in the board on the second round (second throw of that dart). Now, when I say broke off in the board I don't mean it broke when it hit the board and the dart fell out. The dart stuck just fine, but when I went to pull the dart out, half the tip broke off and stayed in the board. For the Viper Tufflex tip, I don't remember how many throws in I was, but it was before I completed 1 game of cricket and that tip did the exact same thing. After about 50 games so far, I have yet to break one of the Pixel tips. My wife and daughter (who have a hard time even hitting the board at times) have also probably played about 15 games each... still not 1 broken tip. Bottom Line, GET THE PIXEL TIPS! Now for the board. I'll start with this... The board costs 50-ish dollars, remember that! In this price range it is not going to be perfect. However, for what it costs, it is an excellent board in my opinion (provided you follow the 2 steps above). Bounce Outs - They happen, but it is not very often. I may average 1 - 3 in a game, which is acceptable to me based on the price of the board. Miss Scores - This happens as well. I've had a few occasions where the board either registered a different number than what I hit, or didn't register the hit at all. This has probably happened 7 - 10 times in the 50 games I've played (which probably equates to over 1,000 darts thrown). This happens a little more than I would like, but again, for the cost of this board I'd say that's acceptable. Darts Stick - A lot of reviews say that the darts stick very firmly in the board and are difficult to remove. This is true. You won't just be walking up to the board and easily pulling the darts out 1-2-3 like on the boards at the bar. They will require some twisting and finagling to get out most of the time. After a few games, you'll eventually develop a method to best get them out with the least amount of hassle... my 14 year old daughter can do it without complaining, so can you. This can be a bit annoying, but I'd rather this than a ton of bounce outs. Screen - Yes, the screen can be a little hard to see and blah blah blah... it's a $50 board! It keeps score and tells you who's turn it is... it does it's job. I have no issues here. The buttons are easy to use, there are a ton of games, and for the price, I'm exceptionally happy with this board. I would recommend it and I'd buy it again. Now, if my GranBoard 3s would ever get here!

Piece of junk initially. Now it seems to be working.
I've played darts for years, both steel tip and soft tip. I tried to play a simple game of 2 player standard cricket. The game routinely did not register a valid throw for either player. I thought maybe the batteries I used were bad, replaced with a fresh set and still had the same problem. I tried to play a couple more games on it to see if maybe it needed a chance to be used a little. Still had the same problem and then it started skipping players throws, meaning you only threw 2 of the 3 darts and the game was telling you the next player was up. Complete waste of money. Now I have to jump through hoops and waste my time to send this clearly defective product back. I decided to try it before I packaged it back up to return it. Seems to be working ok. We'll see what happens after using it a few more times.

Solid Electronic Dartboard!
Have had this for several days now....and there have been over 50 games of cricket played on this so far. I figured that this was enough to toss up my review. If anything changes, i'll edit. Plenty of game options (all the games you'd want, several variations of cricket, 301, 501, all the 01's, baseball, over/under, 26 games in total. I play cricket, 301 and 501 typically. Stylish. Pros: 1) In 50 games of cricket (lots of games played on superbowl sunday)...which is between 3,000-4,000 darts thrown at the board. I don't know that I remember a single bounce out. Yeah, like in real darts, once in a blue moon you'll hit the metal around the bullseye and the dart will bounce back....same here (once in a very blue moon). This is GREAT and was my biggest worry in buying a new board. 2) There is a quartz lcd scoring pance in the lower left of the board. There have been very few scoring errors - and it is accurate. If you are getting an electronic board, I highly recommend getting a board with automatic scoring vs. you having to manually score. Additionally, with cricket, some boards have a different color light for 1, 2 or 3 darts. This board scores with the / X and O like you would on a chalkboard. Love it. 3) On the right side of the board just above the red buttons there is a little holder for all of the extra soft tips they include with the darts. This is great! On the flipside, see con #3 below. Cons: 1) This is not a con of the board at all....but about the darts that come with the board - they totally s*ck. I'm going to guess that this is the case with most electronic dartboards though and I expected it. I'm solid in darts. I tend to use tungsten darts (figure 20 grams) on regulation dartboards... I haven't weighed the soft tip darts that come with this board, but they feel like their weightless. I'm not kidding....I still can't control them - and won't bother trying. I'm going out and buying a nice set of 16 gram soft tip darts since the board works well. Will update review if the board can't handle the new darts. 2) The AC adapter was not included (and is sold separately). That is actually not a con for me...but i figured it would be a con for other buyers. I'd rather use the 4 AA batteries as I placed my board where an outlet is not readily available...and either way - it's a much cleaner look without having the wire dangling down, etc. I've not yet had to replace the batteries. 3) The board has a little cubby for extra soft tips. But there is no holder for your darts. Not a big deal...but it would have been nice to have a place to put them. In end, the cons are really nothing when you think about it. The pros are big. That being said, i only give 5 stars when there are no drawbacks at all....and I'm not sure you'll find a better dartboard in this price range. Sure, if you want to spend $169.99 or $249.99 you might get an a/c adapter...maybe better darts. Maybe (maybe) a slightly more advanced scoring screen. Better performance? Not so sure about that. Well worth the $50. Very happy about this product.

Great value
The product is awesome. The braids is hug and easy to use. The darts come with additional plastic tips, which is great. However, even if the dart does not land on the board but the board is hit, it will recognize the points, so it's lacking accuracy. I think this is the case for most electronic dartboards. Overall, Great value and lots of fun

Great Value For Money
I can't believe this dartboard is not a 5 star on here. I put it up with fastening strips and it holds beautifully on the wall I used 4 pairs. Plenty of options of games and a very simple interface to setup to your desire and preference. My advice would be to make sure you get the right dart equipment. Many of the complaints on this board are to do with the poor equipment been used on the board. Don't use cheap tack stems and tips on any electronic board or you will encounter numerous problems. Get quality tips from Target or Unicorn that suit the board they will stay straight and not bend. Cheap tips bend or stick in the board and this causes unlimited bounce outs on the board. It can also lead to damaging the board if you use to heavy gram darts making the numbers stick and you needing to loosen them regular. This board picks up the point of the darts well and only now and again do you have to give the dart a push to register the score of it. It's also got a lovely feature in games where when it gets down to the finishes if your maths ain't great it assists you and tells you what to go for. Comes with a detailed manual what tells you how to play the games. The beauty also is the battery compartment is on the front so you don't even have to take it off the wall to replace them. In my opinion best bargain electronic board on the market at the minute. Just get the right darts tips don't use the cheap standard rubbish you get with the board. It doesn't have an option to play the computer but it doesn't make much of a difference most of the games allow 1 player to be played.
