Moves a lot of air
I have been using a laser cutter to cut everything from leather to wood to vinyl and acrylic. My shed doesn't have great ventilation and I had to leave during my projects to avoid fumes and smoke. I first tried a traditional box fan along with a column fan near the door and this made the smoke go away but the fumes were still bad. I set this fan up on my workbench very close to the laser cutter and turned it on with the hose out the door. I was able to get rid of all smoke and up wind from the fan there was no trace of fumes. I did use gorilla tape to secure the hose to the fan since the rope tie on didn't create a great seal. I can't speak to durability as I haven't had it long enough. It feels very sturdy and overall the value is good.

Beefier than expected
I gave 4 stars mostly due to the vibrations from an unbalanced fan. I might try to smooth it out myself. I'm sure if not fixed the lifespan of the blower would suffer. Also, the power switch is uncomfortable to work. Neither of these things is a big deal, overall it works very well and is built on the tougher side. A longer hose would be nice, but it seems these hoses are very expensive.

Saved us on a remodel
We were remodeling a house with insulation and dust from sawing new lumber. It was hot and people didn't want to wear face masks 24x7 so we bought this to help keep the dust down. It did a great job. It is powerful, has a long extension for exhausting. I think the only thing I would look for in a product in the future after using this is multispeed. I would buy this product again.

I'm home improvement contractors bought these 2 months ago and it's one of my greatest investment so far this year. sucking power is really amazing. might be too loud but it does the job. Attic work essential -
I have been an electrican, sixteen years. This tool is now an essential part of my truck tools. I set it up in the garage and run the flexible docked up into the attic where I’m working and it makes a real difference, we still treat attics like confined spaces so we still monitor and limit our time to 15 or 20 minute exposures but the fan makes all the difference. If you’re planning on doing attic work I would highly recommend getting one. We have both the 20 foot hose and the 40 foot hose the 40 foot hose obviously you don’t get as much airflow but even with the airflow coming through it makes a significant difference. We have already ordered three more to put on each truck. I highly encourage you to consider getting one.

Working but weak when use with the conduit
The fan alone is not bad at all, but once the flexible conduit is attach, the air flow is so weak it become useless

Just set up and she moves a ton of air, might want to consider a speed controller for it! 5 star if the speed was adjustable
