I'm not a fN of stretch waste bands. Were it not for the other features and price, I would have returned. It's almost as if the grand is too focused one saving fabric to cheapen costs.

Great fit and durability
Great pants, anticipate them being long wearing and durable. One problem,,, zipper on left pocket does not work. I have contacted the manufacturer.

Excellent range of motion
I wear these for work pants, and they are the best I have found yet. Pockets work just right for me, and they are snug/fitted generally along with the gusseted knees that allow for less binding and more range of motion than any other pant I’ve tried.

I'm giving up on these
I like these vs 511 and other brands of tactical pants for the cut, function, style. But my 1st pairs were a little tight in waist (too tight for IWB, but ok for OWB) after a few washes. But they also shrunk in length and even though im a 31 inseam, 32 length were a hair short after they shrunk. SO I get these, but now the material is ripstop blend vs the 100% cotton so 0 shrink. Of course I got size up in both length & waist expecting them to shrink same as my old ones and be just right. But these didn't shrink any so I'm kinda like Goldilocks here normal size is too small, next size up don't shrink at all and I swim in them.

Cargo pockets don’t close
No buttons or Velcro your stuff will just slide out or fall out of cargo pockets .

Best pants I've owned
These are by far my favorite pants that I ever owned. I'm a person that destroys a pair pretty fast and these have proven to be extremely durable. I wear these at home and at work and they just keep going. Most pants by now would have torn through at the knees, or at the very least, show thinning in the knees that let's you know they're about to go. I don't see it at all with these. I get a lot of small tears around my ankle region at work. To be honest, I have no idea why but all of my pants get them. These still get little tear holes but they don't enlarge over time. I have never owned any other type of clothing that could last after getting holes in them. The pocket space is good, and has always been a requirement of pants for me. They look good too. I often get people asking me where I got them because they want some. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they're rough feeling the first week or so of wearing them. I've never had pants that needed to break in, but these apparently do. That's probably part of the reason they're so durable though and it's worth it.

Comfortable, durable.
I have been wearing the Vertx original, or Legacy trousers as they are now known in excess of five years. I like the fit, the comfort and the features. These trousers are similar. They have the same levels of comfort and more features while keeping the ones I liked. The dedicated knife pockets and the flaps over the rear pockets are excellent. What makes these trousers stand out is the fabric. The rip-stop weave is light, resistant to stains and it is incredibly durable. I expect them to last longer than the originals and I will certainly be buying more of them. I now have a second pair of these pants and I am glad to report that everything I said previously has indeed happened. What I find most satisfying is the weight of these new ones compared to the old. They are considerably lighter and therefore easier to wear all day. Excellent. I have finally had to replace the original two pairs mentioned above. They have been worn hard and have stood up remarkably well. My one and only gripe continues to be the belt loops. There are too few of them and I would like them to be wider, similar to those made by 5:11. In every other way the Vertx are superior.

Size down
Looks awesome and the material is great but definitely size up. Got the boyfriend his usual size (32) and he says since it isn’t stretchy and has no give it cuts into his junk and ends up being sore by the end of the day

So Darn Comfortable!!!
I have a hard time finding a comfortable pair of tactical pants. I have a couple pairs of another brand that are good and durable. But ... these Vertx pants .... yeah .... for me ... hands down the way to go. True to size and fit me perfect. These are the way ahead for me. I am definitely going to get more pairs once the colours I want are in stock
