Its Nice
I bought this backpack for school in the fall. I like that it is water-resistant, the many pockets, depth, and the chest strap. However, there were a few things I was disappointed with. I thought there would be more padding in the back and shoulder straps which isn't a problem just not what I expected. Also, the chest strap clasp seems a little loose. The clasp slides easily and doesn't stay in one place in the strap. Hopefully this will change with use. For these reasons, I must stick it at 4 stars.

Best personal item on airplane and great on the boat when scuba diving! Wonderful purchase!
Best purchase! I finally used this on the plane and it was perfect. The weight is distributed perfectly and comfortable to carry heavy loads. This was the perfect carryon personal item in the airport for under the seat. I love the storage and all of the compartments. It is so worth the purchase! Don't hesitate. It was great for taking on the boat for scuba diving too due to the water resistant material!

A LOT of room for stuff
Bought this to help consolidate my computer bag, gym bag, and work bag that I carry. This has plenty of room for laptop, gym shoes and clothes, and paperwork. I think I can even fit my lunch bag if I get a smaller one. Now I dont feel like a pack mule going I to work.

Too Big
The quality is fantastic, but it's too big for use as a personal item, especially if you pack it. It's too wide. I ended up purchasing the same bag in the Grand size. It holds just as much, but the layout is different and it fits under an airline seat. When full, this one does not.

Perfect under seat personal item when flying.
Purchased this backpack to use as a personal item when flying. Fits perfectly under the seat on my JetBlue flight. I was only interested in a backpack that had a trolly sleeve so this one works for me. I have a 17 inch laptop that did fit in the laptop sleeve. In addition to my laptop I also fit my tablet, chargers and cords, and toiletries with room to spare. Also was able to slip my handbag in there if necessary (sometimes the airlines give you a hard time with a suitcase, backpack and handbag). Only thing that could have been better would be if it were maybe two inches wider. That would still have fit under the seat.

Love it!
I have always wanted a Vera Bradley bag since I was in school. This bag was better than I even anticipated. The photos don't show the colors as vibrant as they are in person. I was very impressed with the fabric feel and the color variation. I went on a plane trip for the first time in years and this bag was the perfect size for a three day trip and fit very easily into the overhead compartments.
