Best all around

Working outside in the bright sun. Does exactly what I got them for with a great fit.

Very durable but ear hook is a bit sharp.

Good classic design, holds to head nice and tight, but the ear hook plastic scrapes the scalp hard when putting them on.

These are excellent for torch work, lawn mowing, motorcycle riding, & general outdoor activities at a decent price.

Protect your eyes!

These feel a bit heavy, but they are good knockoffs of my Ray bans, and I feel comfortable working in them as they are rated ANSI Z 87.1 Another plus is that they are disposable if necessary. I use them for general yard work or when working on my old truck on a sunny day. I also purchased the clear versions for work inside the shop. Both versions perform well. Overall a great price on some protective gear that seems to be well made. My only gripe, and the reason for four stars, is that the unit is so heavy, and so strong that there's not a lot of give, and the glasses are a bit tight.

UVEX makes excellent safety eyewear at very reasonable prices

UVEX makes excellent safety eyewear at very reasonable prices. The Tomcat is no exception, providing excellent wide angle vision without distortion. Tint is dark enough to cut down the glare and brightness of a day at the beach, but doesn't compromise clarity or details. These don't become uncomfortable unless worn for extremely long periods (say exceeding 4 hours) and clamp firmly behind the ears without discomfort, preventing them from slipping down the nose. In fact the inside faces of the temple covers (the parts that fit behind the ears) are dimpled to avoid slippage. These are my go-to sunglasses, not just for safety wear.
