Lovely item but hard to water

This is a very cool contemporary look! the black ceramic against the gold hanger is a very chic look; however, it is very hard to water especially if you're short! you can't easily remove it because it is high, attached to the ceiling, and when you try to lift it (as you would a plant hanger) you can't bc the rope collapses - so the functionality is limited. Unless you use a fake plant, or you intend to stand under the pot with something to catch the overflow, it's difficult.

Nice looking hanging planter that’s not like your mother’s in 1975

This looks so nice hanging in my shower. I love how all Umbro products arrive with everything needed to complete the installation (minus the tools of course). We did not use the hook that it came with it because I wanted a different look, but otherwise this a great looking planter. One surprising criticism is the bottom of the ceramic plant pot was not finished well. The black glaze wasn’t perfect and the bottom of the pot’s trim is tan. I’m surprised by this because Umbra usually pays attention to details like this. It’s especially noticeable since it’s a hanging planter. I just used a Sharpie to color it in. It looks ok, but this would be a 5 star review if not for that.

Beautiful, but won’t stay facing front!

Great planter! I wasn’t a fan of the gold, so I wrapped it in jute twine. My only major issue with this planter is that I can’t get it to stop turning. It doesn’t hang straight...it keeps spinning to the right, which is annoying!

It looks amazing just beware if you have a ceiling fan it will be always moving and bashing into the wall.

Lovely. Unique. But expensive.

Definitely you need to buy it! Lovely. Unique. Different style. Well done. Strong. A little bit expensive but I was looking for something unique. It comes with the hooks individually. I love them. Buy it!

Modern and artsy...not your grannies macrame hanger.

I wanted a plant hanger that would look great in my husbands office and this hanger fits the bill. Its modern design was well thought out and I hung it up within a few minutes.

Love it, but needs more support

I love this planter, it's simple, chic and well made. Like other reviewers said, its also quite heavier than expected. That said, I feel like it needs to be sturdier when installed for it to be 5 stars. I followed the instructions and used the wall anchors supplied before mounting the base with screws, however it does sag from the top a fair bit and likely due to the screw placement being side by side. The plant I have in the planter isn't that heavy so I'm disappointed with the design. I feel like 3 screws in a triangle formation would prevent this from happening so for now I'll be looking at alternatives to fix it, but if not, it'll have to be returned, which is a pity because I really love the overall look.

Form and function, ticks all the boxes!

I was looking for a stylish hanging pot that would suit my living room interior and this Umbra planter ticked every box. It looks amazing and has bought an otherwise dull corner of my living room to life.

Lovely

A beautiful, modern design that is also functional. I decided not to use the included drywall anchors and hook, and opted to find a stud and screw in my own c-hook to make sure it will hold up over time. I would not recommend planting directly in the pot as there is no drainage, but it fits nicely with a 5.5 or 6 inch nursery pot. The planter feels to be high-quality and the metal arch is a nice solid metal. Umbra makes great quality products so I am not surprised. As an added bonus, the price is slightly lower on Amazon than on the Umbra website (which was my primary reason for purchasing here vs. directly from the company).

Love the look and quality

Love these planters! Just the right size for hanging. I bought 3 to group together. Nice matte black finish and sturdy thick ropes for hanging. Just be sure to use drywall plugs, as they can be quite heavy depending on the plants used. Works well with my modern rustic home decor, but can work well with a contemporary design look too. Shipment came packaged well. Shipped within 4 days from order date.
