Mid rise is where it's at
I've tried the high rise and yikes. Not for me. These jeans are great quality, just enough stretch and super comfortable. I thought I ordered a pair I could wear a higher heel with, I'm 5'8 but these are not long enough. That's my only issue.

They're just a teeny bit big but still good. They're long. I'm 5'7" for reference with fairly long legs. I may have to hem them but I'll wait until after I wash them. The bootcut is perfect. Not too flared, not too tight around the ankles. I'm really tired of skinny jeans but I just don't care for the big, baggy ones, either so these are a great alternative. They have a little stretch, just enough to keep them really comfortable. The fabric is heavy, perfect for fall and winter. I can't wait to wear them! I guess it's true - you really do get what you pay for.
