Much better than what came on my bow

As the title says, this biscuit is much better than what my bow came with. This biscuit allows the arrows to fly through easily, doesn't affect trajectory or speed, from what I can tell and does not rip at my fletchings. The last biscuit ripped fletchings, so having this not do that saves me a ton of time and money re-fletching or buying new arrows. Easily adjustable to line up with the bow. 4 stars only because the hairs don't seem super sturdy. If it ends up holding up well over the next few months of shooting, I will come back and update. So far, so good, though.

Performs exactly as advertised.

Since I'm just a recreational archer, I don't worry too much about whether I've lost 1-2 fps with each shot. My reason was that I didn't want the fletching smacking against a traditional rest, so I tried the Whisker Biscuit. It required a little adjustment to line it up properly--then a little more adjustment on my part adapting my shooting technique to this new setup, but with a little practice, everything fell right back into place. For junior archers or those even newer to the game than I am, the Biscuit will help keep the arrow from falling off the rest while you're trying to shoot. The only reason I gave it a lower ranking for value is that I happened to see the exact same model being stocked at a local sporting goods store for $17. $30 less and I could have taken it home that day rather than waiting on Amazon. But live and learn, I suppose. Amazon was the weak link here, but the product itself performs exactly as it should. If you're looking for a replacement arrow rest, grab a Biscuit, if only for the snickers that the name will elicit from any nearby fifth graders...!

Great product but not a simple replacement for a stick-on rest on my recurve bow

This is a very well built product, high quality, delivered on time. If I had a compound bow I probably would love it. But, I wanted to try it on a SWA Spyder takedown recurve bow. For my application, the thickness of the riser limits the useful horizontal adjustment so that at even the closest in setting, the aperture pushes the arrow tip (on a right handed bow) further to the left than my previous stick-on arrow rest did, making the arrows skew horizontally more strongly in flight for my existing spine. The adjustable elevation is nice, but I had hoped to match the previous nock height since I had permanently attached nock points to my bowstring. Unfortunately, no matter how I mounted the rest, I couldn't get the elevation low enough to match my existing nock points on my string. So, it is a good rest, but it was not a simple replacement for my stick-on rest on my recurve.

Little extra work

Well, got this for my son's bow the Matheaw Genesis brand. Even after adjusting it far as it can go, it still makes the arrow slightly crooked. I'm going to try to put some washers behind it to help align the arrow better. But overall, I like it. Just wish now they had the smaller version. If that doesn't work, I may have to return it.

No more adjustable than the basic model

I bought this specifically because you could do horizontal and vertical adjustments but the original one that came with my bow adjusts just as far.

Fantastic!

This is a great arrow rest. I've always made due with a cheap drop away arrow rest, found at the local Wally World, but this year I decided to spend a little more on some things for my bow and get it shooting great. This was the first item I ordered. I had heard such great things, and read a number of reviews before purchasing this rest. It does a great job! Like all rests these days, it installs quickly, and lined up pretty true on the initial install. This one does have both windage and elevation adjustments, meaning you can move it left to right, and up and down to really zero in on the true center shot of your bow. It only took me a few shots to get this lined up correctly. After I installed my new sight and got that sighted in, I was putting arrows into a 2 inch pattern at 30 yards. Not bad for me, and certainly good enough to bring down a nice whitetail this year. This also holds the arrow very securely, and is pretty quiet when drawing the bow. It's a little noisier than my last rest, but not too bad, and I don't think it will make a big difference. So all in all, I highly recommend this arrow rest.

Excited

Been using the original trophy ridge whisker biscuit without the vertical adjustment for a year now. As someone new to archery I constantly switched back and forth between drop away or whisker biscuit. For the price and security of knowing that my arrow won't fall out of place I think I made the right decision.

2nd time is the charm

Received wrong item. The item I recieved was the replacement brushes only and not the arrow rest attachment. Very disappointed. ***edited*** took a chance and reordered. I recieved the correct item the 2nd time. Very happy. Great arrow rest.

i love it. the red whisker is kind of pale

i love it. the red whisker is kind of pale, close to pink but its fine. the shape is made small and if you are an "unconventional" archer such as me, it might need some adjustment. i tried to put it on my martin saber (i know its for compound bow but i don't listen to that kind of stuff) and i had to file down one of the corner for it to fit. its aluminum so its light and i could get the extra off easily and now i m just super happy with it.

Does what its supposed to do

Has good enough up/down and left/right movement for tuning. Ordered the Medium for GT Hunter XT and size is perfect. Hold arrow properly and exposes bad shooting form that my drop-away rest did not. Nice and quiet which was my main draw for hunting. No noticeable effect on accuracy if i do my part.
