Easy install

Installing and calibrating took 5 min. And is a must have if you like doing long smoke sessions. Works great with the traeger app. But i agree that this should come with every traeger that has wifi and its a shame we must purchase it separately ourselves.

Should have gotten this sooner

It saved me the first time I used it. Love this product. Easy to install as you only need a #2 phillips. Simple calibration and off to the races.

Works!

Ran out of pellets one time, that was enough for me to purchase. Pretty simple to set up. Using on Pro 780. Like it shows and alerts on the app and the watch. Also like the light feature. Price is steep for what it is. Probably should come with smoker.

Works Great!

Very easy to install. No issues with the sensor but since the way the hopper empties is uneven it may show slightly lower than true, however you can move the pellets in the upper when this happens and it will adjust.

Not very accurate

Gives you a general idea of where your at. But I would just skip this. Just check your pot every couple hours.

Great addition to my smoker!

The only issue so far is the false readings on occasion, I feel this is due in part to the location of the sensor being over the inlet to the auger. The pellets are drawn from the bottom causing a cavity below the sensor tricking it into thinking the hopper is low even if it isn't setting off the alarm on the app, you just go out and level off the pellets and you're good. Overall it's a good product and it's super easy to install and connects to the app with no trouble at all .

Best accessory ever.

This arrived from the USA 3 days before expected and was £15 cheaper than I could buy it in the UK, brilliant. Fitted in minutes and hooked up to the Wifire App. the device was seen straight away and registered an empty hopper, used my hand to check the level readings, seem fairly accurate, will know more after a long cook. Certainly read 100% when I refilled the hopper. Looks good in situ.

Great item for smoker (especially in winter)

1. Great in winter (when you go through more pellets); 2. Awesome when tied into your app; 3. I can't rate the flavour (as it suggested) as I attached it and never licked it. I would buy it again if my Traeger was struck by lightening or stolen by the neighbourhood squirrels...

Delivered quick. And exactly as advertised. A must have for every Traeger grill. Put mine on a century 885 Costco special.

Works as advertised, and the light is definitely handy at night. Surprisingly expensive add-on that should be included from the start though.

Worth buying

Easy to hook up in my Pro 575, very handy for keeping an eye on pellet levels during long cooks and even has a light on it for when you want to look in the hopper and it’s dark out.
