I was so pleased with these cards! They are absolutely beautiful and unique. I wanted a Christmas card that was traditional and this was perfect. The card had a nice weight to it and mailed out wonderfully! Highly recommend

Image & Envelopes

I'm starting to get responses from my animal-loving friends to whom I've sent this card--they're saying it's the best holiday greeting card they've ever received. The responses have been so positive that I've upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars. I still really wish the card had richer colors and that the envelope were simply a solid color that complemented the basic colors of the card itself. I looked through my store of unused envelopes from past years' greeting cards, but none quite fit the size of this card, so I had to use the envelopes that came with the card. Below is my earlier 4 star review. ------------------------- I really liked the card as it appeared online. I plan to send it to friends and relatives who are animal lovers. But I'm giving the cards 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: The image on the actual cards in person isn't as vibrant in person. It lacks the richness of color of its online picture. And I very much dislike that the envelopes have the same image on them as the card--I believe that ruins the impact of opening the envelope and seeing the picture on the card in its full glory for the first time. It's like wrapping a gift in paper with the gift's image printed on the paper. Ugh! So I will not be using the envelopes that came with the cards. Instead, I will use plain white envelopes left over from other holiday cards.

I love these cards.

I've gotten cards from this brand for the last two years. I love that they have specific winter solstice cards. They are absolutely beautiful designs with envelopes to match. A nice, thick card stock. My only complaint, which is a mild one, is that the card stock does not always take ink well. Would not recommend using a fountain or traditional nib pen with them, my ball point pens work much better on this type of paper, however it does take some time to dry. Easy to work around though, and definitely worth the extra couple of minutes to let the ink dry because they are such nice cards.

The image on these cards is so beautiful. I am transfixed by the tenderness and beauty of the moment captured. When I send a note to someone, they have told me that the image was moving to them, in addition to my message.

Original and Unique

These cards are beautiful and one our entire family agreed on would symbolize our Christmas spirit. The design is also on the inside of the card and the envelope reflects the design as well. The card appears glittery without any actual glitter to get all over your hands, your floors, your entire house for the next twenty years. Good size cards and thickness. I think this card will be a lovely change (from many Christmas cards with traditional themes) for anyone receiving it.

I like Christmas cards that aren't too religious, but that still have a reference to the sacredness of this lovely feast. I especially love that Christmas is about a mother and her newborn. That is the quintessential spiritual relationship, of the deepest most generous love. Ah, I get carried away, but a bit more of that, please.
