Super Stylish Windbreaker
Been looking for a lightweight laying piece for wind and rain in the Spring. I already have a trench but i wanted something not as heavy. This is so stylish with the cinching and the stripe down the arm. I typically wear anywhere from a 8-12 in womens clothes and in this jacket the medium fit me well even with my broad shoulders (often times jackets will fit my body in a medium but i wont be to narrow in shoulders). I can't speak to how water resistant it is as I just got it but love the look and the weight.

Not for me
I noted this jacket to "Fit as expected" based on prior reviews. I DID find it small in the shoulders and upper arms but it was not too much so for me. I ordered a 2X based on the reviews. However, I purchased 2 coats last months that were both 1X that fit perfectly. The reason I gave this jacket 3 stars is based on all the snaps and fasteners around the neck that are not mentioned nor shown in the picture. To put the hood up, if you don't fasten up all that mess, it's just hanging, flapping, probably because of the fabric weight. I have a heavier weight quilted anorak that, when zipped all the way up, comes up in front of my neck/mouth to block the wind and cold. When not zipped all the way, it will fold back and look fine, not wilted. Also, I did not notice in the picture that the pockets are placed "backward", which I find awkward in placing your hands or putting objects in your pocket and try to retrieve. I guess that's to keep stuff protected from the rain? But since the pockets fasten, I don't think that's necessary. I ordered the green color which I really liked. Not too "army" green and does not have a yellow tint. It hit me at a perfect place, just below the tips of my fingers, covering my backside well. It's a nice weight for spring and fall, or even warmer winter days, like we've had so much of in TN this year. It just isn't what I want so back it goes, even though it was a GREAT price.

It is not a super heavy coat, would be good for warmer climates with milder winters or as a jacket for fall or wet weather. It is plenty long enough for me and the sleeves are long enough, I am 5'9" so I find this a plus. I ordered up a size because of other reviews saying it ran small; it may run a little small, but not to the extreme. I probably could have used my normal size. If you are wearing heavy sweaters or multiple layers underneath, sizing up may be a good idea. I like the styling very much and it will go with many styles and colors in your wardrobe. Only thing that I think needs improvement about this jacket is the pockets could be a little deeper. Great value for price I paid for the khaki color!

My FAVORITE coat ever!!!
I love this jacket so much! It is a three season jacket here in Tennessee. It is tailored perfectly. Tommy Hilfiger makes the crisp white look I love. One reason I love this coat is the extra long tail which covers my rear. I’d buy it again!!!

There are real epaulettes on the shoulders which are nice for snapping in a purse strap
I think it deserves less than a four (but I couldn’t give it a three) because of one serious flaw – there are no cuffs or any way to cinch up the end of the sleeves, allowing wind and rain up your arm. All they had to do was put one more snap on the sleeves so you could use the (otherwise useless) epaulette-like adornments to tighten the openings. Otherwise it seems well made (I’ve only worn it once). There are real epaulettes on the shoulders which are nice for snapping in a purse strap. There’s a snapping strap above the zipper to keep your neck dry, and elastic cord to cinch up the waist and hood, so why not add one more useful feature at the end of the sleeves?

This jacket may have been true to size, but I ordered a size up so that I could layer underneath for travel to Ireland and London in October. Slightly heavier than I expected and seems to be very well made. I just wish that the jacket had an interior security pocket, but I should be okay. Used this for a 10-day trip to Ireland/London; was concerned it would be too heavy, however it was PERFECT. Wore a sweater and the coat most of the time; it blocked wind and kept me dry during the showers that popped up during the day. The hood was great to flip up and keep my hair dry. When we were out on the Aran Islands I was able to secure it so it wouldn't blow off and kept myself comfy warm. Definitely recommend!
