Best floor mat

I love this floor mat for my son! He can play on it and I don’t have to worry that he’ll hurt himself if he falls. The mat is pretty thick and cleanup on it is so easy. I just wipe it down and it’s good to go. It’s not easy to rip or tear. Easy to fold and put away. My son loves to climb on it when it’s folded up. Overall, one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Love this mat

This mat was absolutely perfect for our baby pen that we ordered (also toddleroo brand) so the mat fit perfectly underneath. The design is super cute and my little one has no issues when playing on it. It’s easy to clean and love that it can fold up. We have hardwood floors so this was a must. We tried other flooring options for our little and this is by far our favorite

Portable

Light weight and very thick. Can move from room to room or store away. The fold is not the greatest and takes a few times until you get the hang of it.

Fits great in my albott adjustable fence. Quality is okay but wish it was a little more durable and thicker.

easy to clean and promote learning while playing

One of the things I love about this play mat is the engaging ABC lettering. It's not only fun for my child to look at and play on, but it also helps promote learning while playing. Another great feature of this play mat is its foldability. It's easy to fold down compactly, making it convenient to bring along on family outings or trips to the park. The mat is also easy to clean, which is a huge plus for any parent. The only downside I have noticed is that the mat may be too large for smaller play areas or homes with limited space. Additionally, some parents may find the mat to be too thin for their preferences.

Get rid of the 3D brand name!

I love everything about this mat except the 3D brand name that gets scratched by baby and the thin plastic layer over it flakes off in tiny bits over time - not safe at all! You could just print the name like the rest of the print. Also, it collects dust and grime in the 3D letters of the brand name and the grooves for folding but that's usually a good indication the mat needs cleaning anyway.

Great item, but FALSE advertisement

In mid-April I bought two items of NorthStates-Toddleroo: 1) the Toddleroo by NorthStates 71" x 71" Folding Balloon Ride Play Mat - Extra Large, Designed to fit 6 Panel or 8 Panel Superyards (the item being reviewed here); and 2)The Toddleroo by NorthStates Superyard 6 Panel Baby Play Yard/Barrier with Wall Mount Kit (the item being reviewed here) All in all, the mat alone is a good addition to our house, and our kid loves it. BUT....beware if you are planning on buying this AND the Superyard gate/barrier. If you are about to do that, please keep reading. As per the advertisement (and the name of the Folding Mat), one would understand that if you buy the two items, the coverage of the Superyard/barrier would encompass ALL of the folding mat. Put it simply, if the folding mat is "designed to fit 6-panel superyards", when you assemble the barrier, it should not overlap and/or "eat away" part of the mat. Otherwise, it would make you lose part of the playing surface that you bought. And if you explicitly buy an extra-large mat, you want to be able to use the extra-large surface. Well, it turns out that I assembled the gate only to find out that the two items are NOT compatible. When you try to enclose the mat with the Superyard 6 panel, you lose a lot of the extra-large mat surface. It doesn't make any sense. They should NOT advertise the extra-large mat as one been designed to fit a 6-panel superyard because it is not. It eats away valuable playing surface, which is exactly what you would want when buying an extra-large mat. The options now? A) not using the gate; b) lose playing surface of the extra-large mat; or c) spend approximately 40 to 70 dollars in an extension of the barrier/superyard.
