Beautiful, but only skin deep

Pros: This watch is simply stunningly beautiful. Chronograph work very well and even has a safety feature that stops and resets the stop watch function after 4 hours if you accidentally started it or forget to stop it yourself. The small second hand it uses allows this watch to avoid the dreaded loud Timex Tick; it's nearly silent. Cons: The plated brass case is only a step above a soda can in terms of durability. The case and the VERY thin mineral glass used push this watch into the minimum viable product category. I wore the watch around the office for only a few hours and the very thin case has already suffered two small gouges. Conclusion: Flawed she may be, but I'm keeping her. She's still beautiful even with a few scars.

Nice

The watch is a little bit thick, but looks nice. Easy to read and watch looks good. The watch band feels fine, and has a good color. It doesn't make much sound.

One of the best watches, but bad QC

At almost any price, there are few better-looking designs. The Indiglo (particularly how the subdials glow) is also unique and great. Having a chronograph function is useful (and looks good). The finishing is not high-end. But it's good. The only problem is that it took me 4 attempts to get one without major QC issues.

Attractive watch, appears well made but with a couple of documentation and esign problems.

It's complicated to set chrono functions. No instructions at all included with watch. Had to search internet to find out how the chronometer is set up and what the buttons do. The date display is readable only with a magnifying glass and compliced to reset every month with other than 31 days. Otherwise a very attractive watch. It appears more expensive than it is. The pricing is odd in that just changes in dial color make large differences in price. This Is only a preliminary impression. No long term experiemce

Fancy for fraction of a price !

It’s a great looking watch! Got the rose gold version with the black face. Looks very elegant for a Sunday brunch type of a style. Got this for the man in my life cuz I have the female version of the Fairfield watch in rose gold as well but with a white face style.

Excellent Timex value, but not easy to read

Like all Timex watches this one represents great value for money. The only very minor problem with this watch is that the time is hard to read because the hands are bright chrome against a bright white background. I usually need to move the watch around a bit to get into the right light to see the hands clearly (I'm getting older and my eyesight probably isn't as good as it used to be!).

Cheaper than other variant

This Fairfield watch is cheaper than other variant. But the dark brown leather strap look pretty cheap and bring down the overall nice look of this watch. If you plan to replaced the strap anyway. Its a good buy. Its a 20mm band options are endless. For the watch itself it is very nice. It does wear a bit bigger than actual size since it pretty thick for a quartz movement. The dial in all its minimalism is a bit hard to read. Since the tail of the second hand is wide and attract the eye uselessly. If Timex would make it in 38mm or 3mm thinner this would be a killer watch. Buy for the vintage minimalism and if you plan to replace the band. Skip if you got a small wrist or if you need a easy to read dial.
