Love the pattern

These are beautiful in my family room scheme of color. Only request would would be to make them so wet class didn’t stick to them.

Some caveats, but overall pretty great

They are a pink/brown color, as another reviewer said, but the splotchy design works great for hiding coffee and tea stains (although according to the info that came with the coasters, you can rinse stains out). The cork bottom doesn't go all the way to the edge, so you have to be a bit careful with that. They do hold a surprising amount of condensation, though. None of mine were broken, but the way the manufacturer packed them, I can see how that could happen. Amazon's packing was fine. One of mine had a small chip on the edge, but it's pretty small and not that big a deal to me. And let's face it, this type of stone chips fairly easily. Overall, I'm pretty happy with these and would recommend them to someone who isn't trying to exactly match colors. (The coasters all are exactly the same, but they are pinker than they looked on my tablet.)

Keeps condensation at bay, and laptop heat away

These are attractive, and they work. They don't get 5 stars because I have had some water overrun a couple of times. However, I live in subtropical Florida, and it's summer, and to expect these (or anything) to capture ALL the condensation from a large glass filled with ice and tea is unrealistic. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. Another nifty thing: my laptop (like most, I suppose) runs very hot. When I lived in Chicago, that extra heat was welcomed. Not in Florida, not so much. So one day I put two of these coasters between my legs and the laptop and voila! instantly cooler by a whole lotta degrees.

Not so thirsty?

Not so thirsty? Maybe I expected too much. With the glaze coating, they aren't absorbent at all. Loved the color and design. Would certainly gift with the corrected assumption they are no different from other coasters that have runoff.

Look and perform great

I have Thirstystone coasters already but was looking for them in a southwest theme for my done over basement. These are terrific..absorb moisture from glasses and protect my furniture they way they should and look artsy at the same time. I leave them out because they just look good (instead of hiding away in a drawer until needed.) Update: my husband took them out of the small box (not the shipping box) they came in and discovered there is a piece of a coaster missing but strangely enough..no pieces were inside the small box they came in. I am not pleased, as they were obviously shipped this way if there were no small break off pieces inside. Will call Amazon on this, as this is unacceptable. It was a gift for me for Christmas.

Check cork on all coasters!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like them more if they all had cork on the backs. I just discovered why I was getting a few scratches on my coffee table. One of my coasters does not have ANY cork on the back! It is straight stone. I do not entertain and it's just my husband and myself. These do not get moved around the house and there is no possible way it fell off somewhere. It is obvious that cork was never applied. Really disappointed it took scratching my table to figure out tthe issue. Good news is that it is a inexpensive coffee table.Still want it to look nice, thus the coaster purchase. Can't figure out how to contact Thirstystone for a replacement. Guess I have to find cork somewhere. I live very rural so that's not an easy fix.
