Fra mærket: The Hillman Group. Forzinket.

Makes for a secure connection to the wall
I bought this for a project in the garage where I wanted to mount a painted plywood piece of wood on the wall. I used a washer with the lag screw that had a 3/8" inner diameter & a 7/8" outer diameter. In my case I countersunk the screw into the 3/4" plywood. I first drilled a 7/8" hole to a depth of 3/8" and then a 3/8" hole for the remaining 3/8". I have 5/8" thick drywall and drilled a 17/64" hole in the drywall and continued to drill a hole in the 2x6 that was behind the drywall. I then started to screw two lag screws into the 2x6 stud behind the drywall with my wall plate attached the the wall and tightened everything with a socket wrench. The wooden panel will be a part of a support for some pipes for the water heater
