(1,36 Nm) * Nøjagtighed: ± 4 procent * Længde: 18-3/8 tommer * Skralde: 24 tand * Oprindelsesland: Taiwan Inkluderer: * (1) 1/2 in. drevmomentnøgle * (1) Opbevaringstaske * (1) Betjeningsvejledning med drejningsmomentkonverteringsskema

Let me say this is my first Tekton product and as usual, I paid full price. It's easy to read, and you can get to high torque with almost no effort since the handle is large. I can't say for certain if this was 100% accurate but It seem to be spot on based on my test. Sadly the tool snapped when I was setting 90 ft/lb to install wheel spacers. However I managed to talk to Tekton about it and I am amazed by their customer service, they validated my request and sent me a replacement the same day. I will make sure to buy more of their products, highly recommended since not all companies stand by their products.

It clicks
Hard to say about accuracy instructions say + or - 3%. It worked on Rancher lug nuts.

Excellent and tough 1/2 inch torque wrench
About eight years ago, I purchased my first dual suspension carbon fiber mountain bike which also has a carbon fiber handlebar and seatpost. I enjoyed the bike so much, I purchased another for all mountain riding a few years later and then, last year, one for my wife. The only problem with carbon bikes though (or carbon fiber in general) is that you have to be very careful when torquing components because carbon will not deform like a metal that is over stressed. Carbon fiber is extremely sensitive to point stress and compression loads and if you surpass the torque limit of the material it will snap or fracture suddenly (often, without the owner noticing). And that is where the Tekton 24335 comes in. This 1/2 inch drive socket torque wrench is ideal for that 13 to almost 203 Newton Meters (Nm) range that applies to larger fasteners on a mountain bike (such as the bottom bracket and freewheel), and to make sure undue stress is not being applied to the carbon fiber frame or components. My Tekton 24335 came just fine a week after ordering , and as soon as I received my wrench, I set it up in my vise to do an accuracy test. I attached a plumb weight (of known mass) from a string on the end and began dialing the lock ring back down to 90 Nm (66.3 foot pounds or 796 inch pounds), until the weight made it click. I was checking to see if it clicked at 90 Nm, because this is a little bit above what would be needed for certain bottom bracket cups. I then measured the distance (from the center of the drive to the center of the handle where the string was tied holding the weight) x weight I used and then converted to Newton Meters, and compared that to the setting at which it had clicked. It turns out the Tekton 24335 is accurate to 0.8%. However, these type of torque wrenches are more accurate when the internal spring is stretched than when it is relaxed, so a further 1 or 2% correction could be in order either way. (you have to consider dynamic versus static loading when conducting testing) Still, a deviance of only 0.8% is well within the 4% Tekton claims and is very accurate for a torque wrench in this price range. The Tekton 24335 also has some nice features I really enjoy. The printed scale on the handle is easy to read. The knurled handle is easy to hold and is solid steel rather than the plastic of some other torque wrenches. Also, the feel of the Tekton 24335 is much more intuitive during dynamic loading and when you reach the limit in torque you set, the click and swivel of the head is sharp, loud and easy to notice due to the roller pin rolling over the roller bearing. This is a welcome feature when you are wrenching and torquing multiple fasteners quickly. Overall, the Tekton 24335 feels high-end and has a high quality of construction with more steel used throughout compared to many competitors. To top it off, the Tekton 24335 has a port in the center of the main shaft for resetting it back to 100% accuracy after you use it for several years. (or, if you misuse it) The only aspect I do not like about the Tekton 24335 for bicycle use at least, is that it cannot register torque in both directions (for right and left handed threads). That said, on modern bikes, you typically only find left handed threads in three places; the left pedal, the right bottom bracket cup and the freewheel cone. And finally, there is the price. The Tekton 24335 sells for $38 compared to $70 to $250 for many other competitors that are similarly constructed. That is simply a huge amount of difference and when you combine that with the fact that the Tekton 24335 is so accurate, it makes choosing the Tekton easy. So far, I have had my Tekton 24335 for about seven months and have used it not only on my bikes but also with some light auto work, and the wrench has been both accurate and performed superbly. For me, that equals five stars!

Got a replacement. Used it 3 times and it stopped working when tightening.
Latest use, the wrench doesn't tighten, it slips. Seems like the bearings are out of whack. Tekton sent a replacement.

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. Love it, feels very quality, just checked my wheel lug nuts with it and found out most were overtightened.

Heavy-duty
This torque wrench seems to be built really solidly, like it's made to last. It's also pretty accurate; I checked it to within 3% of the set value. My only complaint would be that the locking screw on the end of the handle can lock inadvertently while you're setting the torque value.

Great!
Great price! Bought this to tighten lug nuts for tire rotations. Tested it and it's on spot at 76 ft lb.

Good for household use
It is good and easy to use. I can not comment on accuracy as i can not measure that.

Works Very Well - Feels Like A Quality Tool
Very happy with this purchase however without a torque tester I cannot confirm it's accuracy but if it's quality is anything to go by then I'm sure it's quite decent.

Good for occasional use but bad for regular torquing
I purchased this October of 2017. It has been through a couple of brake jobs, and some suspension work. Overall it did everything i asked of it, but the price they are asking is definitely showing. In less than a year of usage the wrench has already lost one of the screws on the top of the wrench and what appears to be grease is coming out of the handle. So, if you are looking for a wrench to use for a couple of times a year this will do. But if you use a torque wrench often then skip this and get a better quality one.
