Taboo is the first pick for game night in my family

I bought this edition for my 22 year old niece for Christmas so she could have her own set to play with friends. Additionally, when we have a family game night, Taboo is often the first choice. It's fun, intense, fast paced and always leads to a fight. Ok, not really a full-out "fight," but everyone getting riled up is part of the fun. We've played this with out of state family and immediate family, kids and grown-ups and it's always a favorite. My partner has an older version, maybe 15 years old, that tends to be a little more obscure at times, but that's part of the entertainment, the older "current" references are even more challenging to play. We've played with kids younger than 13 and they are fierce competitors. Teams can always "pass" a play if the card is too difficult (and lose a point). For our game nights we often try to sort the teams into those most familiar with each other, when we play Taboo, then clues can be a shared experience or memory, as long as no one tries to give a clue with a word that's taboo. It's pretty easy and straightforward, and doesn't take a lot of table space to play.

Taboo is great but this Buzzer sucks

I love Taboo and wanted to spend the extra for the buzzer as opposed to the squishy thingy. Well this buzzer sucks. You can barely hear it. I might as well bought the squishy thing. So disappointing. But Taboo remains one of the best games.

Fantastic game for any game night ????

Used to play this game all the time growing up and it seems like gameboard sections in stores are missing out. Very glad I was able to get it here. It is a staple of most game nights, great for family or friends.

New Version - No Card Box or Card Stand, or Score Card

I purchased this to replace another one. I was discouraged to find there isn't even a small box to hold the cards any more. Also, nothing to stand the active cards on when playing and no score pad. Of course the price didn't go down.
