Questionable Design and Poor Quality Control

The horizontal bars are too close together. If you have nice/fluffy towels they will not fit (without forcing), and forget about them ever drying. The quality control is poor. Both the set screws were bound in their threads. I was able to free one of them and re-tap the threads to make it usable (using penetrating oil and a custom made oversized hex wrench); however the other screw had to be drilled out and the hole repaired then re-tapped for a new set screw. I am pretty sure that this was not an isolated incident because I also found the same problem on the rest of the Symmons Dia accessories I installed.

Good bar - bad brackets

Bar is good but brackets don’t mount well to drywall. I now own two but I glued decorative wood to the drywall and then mounted brackets to the wood. Then no problems

Nice design, good for drying towels

My husband loves this towel bar. His towels haven't been completely drying between showers - now he hangs it over the double bar width and the extra space helps the towel dry quicker. Metal is a bit lighter than expected, but should hold up OK. No troubles with mounting. Very pleased.
