Took this across country

I purchased the one with the bubble pattern, so it would stand out!! I love this walking stick/cane. For me it is such a convenience. I was having problems with the nerve down my leg. I had to fly across country and the lines at the airport were horrible. I was able to sit in those long lines with this cane. I also had no problem with putting it in the overhead bin. It fit perfectly. I also used this cane at a recent PetExpo which was huge and a lot of walking. I needed a chair to sit and this cane was perfect. I would definitely definitely recommend this walking stick/cane with the seat to everyone.

It works!

Serves the purpose but awkward as a cane. Pretty comfortable but not for big butts!

Great product if you need it!

I truly should receive a commission for advertising the Switch stick! Since I received mine Nov 3, at LEAST six folks have stopped me in restaurants and stores, and I am always happy to share about it, and to give Amazon as my source! We just drove down to an over- 55 coastal RV park for a couple months. (I can imagine the interest this will draw there!) Yesterday, at a fast food restaurant, a gentleman stopped to ask me about the cane with the fold-down seat. I gladly demonstrated how easy it was to use. His wife took a photo..and before we all left the cafe, she had ordered him one from Amazon! I was stopped again to answer questions this morning, in Walgreens! ????. The Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all the way across is, some of the PAINT on handle came off within the first week! I spray painted it. Other than that..love it. Gave me back my independence.

Great product but…

The first one we ordered arrived broken. We were credited and ordered again because my mother loved the idea of being able to sit and rest when walking if needed. The replacement came and was satisfactory. The first time she used it however the bottom piece broke off. When I inquired about a replacement (never used mind you) they suggest I buy a $10 replacement piece. It seems this may be a common issue. Perhaps the bottom pieces aren’t made to last and the replacement costs are not reasonable.

Used it days after it arrived

We had plans to go down to Erie PA for the Tall Ships festival and watch the vessels from a beach. Served well as a cane while walking about 35mins on soft/hard sand. Set up on a stretch of beach in the shade of a tree and watched the various tall ship participants maneuvering to get their sails up. Not the most comfortable BUT better than sitting on a rock or standing. Did its job well though one of the legs' rubber cups slipped off somewhere and that leg sunk deeper into the sand. Maybe something to make the rubber cups more sticky to hold on no matter the terrain would be a good addition?

The best thing

I can walk enough to not need a walker, but I can't stand long and needed a seat. This was the perfect solution. It's cute and works great. The other 2 "feet" (rubber ends) sticking out of the sides when I'm walking are actually beneficial, if the main "foot" misses a step or I stumble, the "foot" sticking out the side catches me.

Great step between a cane and a walker with tennis balls. I purchased this for my mother who told me that when she went to vacation this year she was gonna bring her walker. We don’t have that kind of room in the car to bring a walker and be worried about her pride a bit. I knew that these types of canes were out there and these were cute patterns which fit my mom‘s personality and apparently her bottom!! I’d this is a great And stylish transition from a cane before you have to get to that big three sided walker with tennis balls!
