Dont order the sticks till you're sure you are keeping

We have a dog and cat. For years we have been using throws on the family room sofas. I thought this cover might look more finished. We took it out of the package and did not even install it. The throws look nicer and its easy to wash them weekly. And no wrinkles. So we returned this. If you dont need frequent washing perhaps this would work for you. I received free return shipping on the cover. The sticks sold by the mfg i had to pay $7 to return. So...buy the sticks after you decide to keep.

Great cover but you need a steamer to make it look good

This is a great slipcover for a more formal living room that you do not plan on using everyday. If you have kids or plan to use this as your everyday couch I think you will need to do a lot of re-tucking to smooth it out. When you first put it on you absolutely NEED a little steamer. You need the steamer to make it look right. Color is great! I got the natural one.

Large and heavy duty fabric

I loved this, exceeded expectations, it was roomy and would fit a bigger sofa than mine which is a low back 82 inch long modern sofa. I just tucked it in a lot. There is room for a higher back and slightly longer sofa. It is a heavy duty canvas type fabric. I washed it and it did not shrink. It has slight water resistance but if you spill something that stains quick spot treat it and wash. I had to do this!

Fit and wash

Fit great! We have a large sofa and I had no problem putting the cover on. Washes great in washer and dryer, and no problem putting back on sofa Comfortable and soft to relax on.

For a cottage this is perfect

The fit is generic but easy to follow directions get it in place. Do or expect perfect fit. If you want perfection have a cover custom made and expect to pay accordingly. Visually this does the job and the fabric is heavy enough to stand up to wear and use.

Felt and looked like a Painters drop cloth

It did not fit my sofa properly. Fabric was stiff. Looked and felt like a painters drop cloth. I returned it. The one thing I don't like about online shopping. You can't really see and feel what it looks like.

What I was hoping for

Exactly what I was hoping for. If you have hand held steamer, you’ll need it but not a big deal. Fabric is sturdy like a painter’s canvas. Perfect for animal lovers. My couch is 85” long and 31” high. Little tuck here and there and it’s perfect. Will post more if needed once I wash it.

Tears easily

Great protection

I ordered this along with with quilted protector that I used under the surefit to ensure that my cats claws would not scratchmy leather sofa when jumping on the back or arms. The quilt covers available do not cover the entire my entire sofa so I ordered this to cover everything and the quilt provides extra protection on the higher traffic spots. The cover needed ironing before installing but looked good once done. It fits my tuxedo style sofa well once all tucked in.

good quality

This is a good quality cover. Our sofa is oversize so it's a bit tight but does the job. If you want the thick material make sure you order 'sailcloth'. I ordered the chair cover from the same company from Wayfair but it's thinner so the dark colour of our sofa shows through a bit. That one was labelled 'cotton duck'.
