Good at first...
These were absolutely stunning at first. They're thick, soft, and supremely comfortable. But they are NOT deep pocket, which is just as well, as the mattress I'm currently on is just a standard thickness. My own mattress is quite a bit thicker, and there is no way these would fit. What's worse, is that after a mere six months of use, the taupe set (queen) has shrunk to a point where the fitted sheet no longer even fits on the mattress. My husband was sick of the bottom corner always pulling up while he was sleeping, so the two of us tried to fit it on together - the end result was that the entire corner stitching disintegrated. It's not worth trying to re-sew, so now I just pin the sheet to the mattress protector. It fits better that way, and won't shift when he does! As for the top sheet, it barely even tucks in anymore, at least lengthwise. My husband is tall, and I have, more than once, contemplated buying king size sheets for the queen bed just to keep them tucked in; I think in this instance, it would definitely have been a good idea. At least then, they would have shrunk to fit the bed I want them for! The chocolate set is a little better, and is actually softer. It hasn't shrunk quite as much, but is still smaller than it should be. Look, bottom line, they're okay. That's all. The quality of the cotton is fantastic, but unless you have a huge line, and plenty of time to hang them out to dry, do NOT put them in the dryer, or you will regret it. Even then, I'm not sure they won't still shrink. I still use mine, but I'm a masochist, and I refuse to throw good money away - and unless another seam gives out, I have a feeling I'm going to wear out before these sheets do.

Short-sheeted
I really like these sheets, but the measurements are wrong. For the queen size, the top sheet is supposed to be 90 x 102 inches. After washing it actually measured 88 x 87 (about 1 ft short). Also the pillow cases were wider than my pillows and not quite long enough. If the manufacturer would fix this problem I'd give the sheets five stars.

That There's a Lot of Threads Right There
1500 thread count is a lot thicker than you'd suspect. Takes a little getting used to but very soft.

Left out a word...
Do not get taken in, the seller left out an important word in the title of the product, "Egyptian" cotton---these sheets are average quality at best with an above average price.

I have been searching for great sheets after being a long time purchaser from EgyptianPeddler.com, until my last order I received a horrible pilling set of sheets after spending over $500. I contacted Home City Inc to make sure the set I normally purchase is still being made. They assured me that purchasing on their Amazon account that I would get a top quality product. These sheets pilled within the first two weeks of wear just like the other set. It has been 3 months now and I am searching for a new set. The pills are very itchy on my sensitive skin, can't sleep most nights and I have to keep flipping she sheets to find a "non-pilled' area to sleep on. Do not purchase sheets from Luxur, Impressions, or Home City Inc, they are all from the same company but a different extension/brand/label. So sad to be posting this review I have been a customer of theirs since 2005, the quality has plummeted over the years. Buyer beware, keep your money and do not purchase until you can afford better sheets. I waisted over $1000 bucks on 4 different sets all from Home City Inc. in one month (2) from EgyptianPeddler, (2) from Amazon, and every set has pilled.

These sheets are terrific. I had them in my cart saved for later and the price dropped substantially so I bought two sets. I'm very pleased with them. The CA King is long enough to tuck in at the foot and still come up to the head of the bed even with a thick Tempur-Pedic mattress. They are very soft. The weight feels more like a light weight tarp than a typical bed sheet. Also this fabric makes for a wonderfully comfortable pillow case as well.

In the ad it says Impressions is now Superior. Thought I was getting the same thick cotton sheets. Wrong. They are going back. Never even put them on the bed.
