There is no Sun

This arrived really quickly. The planets look nice and they glow in the dark. There’s also some tiny glowing star stickers included. I like that the planets are sized correctly and they have loops on the top so you can add the strings to hang them up. What I didn’t like is that the string is similar to fishing line so it’s difficult to tie a sturdy knot. Also - and this was a big deal for us: there is no Sun. Obviously that’s my fault for not noticing this before ordering this item but it was really disappointing because I expected the sun to be included. We wanted to hang the planets as they would naturally revolve around the sun. So after assembling all the planets and tying the strings on (with the help of my 9 and 3 year old kids) we started to hang them with the Sun in the middle. Only to discover there was no Sun. Everyone was very upset lol. We already put the planets together and the packaging is ruined so no point in trying to return it . I will buy a smallish yellow ball and we’ll just improvise. But I wish I noticed sooner. I would have definitely ordered a different set. 4 stars on giftable bc of the sun thing as I think that would kind of ruin the gift. 4 stars on ease of assembly bc of the string. 3 stars on value for the money bc I need to buy a yellow ball for the sun. Overall, I wouldn’t buy it again but it’ll do, and there’s more planets than we started with.

Great product! The pics speak for themselves!

You put them together like Easter eggs. And Neptune is more violet ish.. and doest have a ring.. but my child is all into space and could tell which planet was which..It comes with everything you need to assemble including fish line putty and tacks shaped like stars and some extra star stickers that glow green. Fish line is invisible so it looks as if the planets are floating plus they glow a really long time. I ordered a separate pack of 600 3D blue stars from another vendor that I used in combination with this product. Came out AMAZING! As you can see by the pics.I did NOT use black light to take the pic I just adjusted my shudder speed to 10 on my phone camera. Great product! Won't disappoint!

Takes forever to assemble but look great!

This took over an hour to put up but my son loves it and they look great! They’ve yet to fall down and I’ve had them up for weeks now.

Cute, but don't really glow

I bought these for my 4yo son and he loves them (so does our 2yo), but they don't glow very much. I even left his bedroom light on for several hours before bed one night and they barely registered a glow.

Perfect for a themed bedroom

Just purchased for my sons solar system themed room. They arrived quickly. All in all they are pretty cute. The largest planet Jupiter is about the size of a grapefruit with all others descending in size. They included pluto, which is the smallest, about the size of a golf ball. I was pleasantly surprised they included the string and tacks/putty for handing. The tacks are star shaped. The colours and painting are not very detailed. Neptune has awful detail. Jupiter does include the red spot. They look nice though once they are on the ceiling. As for glowing, they do glow but not very bright. The picture I have posted d is with our ceiling light on all evening. The sun is not included. Only the planets. All in all I would recommend for hanging on the ceiling.

Got these for my sons room because he loves space. They are pretty neat.. lights up with the black light in his room and looks super cool with all the stars he has all over his ceiling!
