Easy to install

Purchased to replace blade on very old (8-10 yo) mulching mower. Installed according to directions and works fine. Needed to raise the mower up a notch or two after replacing. Not sure why but seems to cut lower than other blade did. It cut great in fall grass and mulched lots of leaves. Overall it works very well. Excited to see how it works with next summers thick grass.

Not a bad replacement part

Blade is quite aggressive making the mower do a better job. Negatives include: grass side orientation not well marked and the pcoat covered the cutting edges too much. Also, it was a bit confusing matching the PN on the Stens label to the MTD replacement PN.

Works great!!!

Can't beat the price. After trying to rebalance a 8yr old blade and not working. Decided to get new blades. The old blade took a beating on my RC mower/weedeater. After removing the bolt shaft from the crankshaft after shearing off the head with a 1/2" cordless impact. Be carful guys n gals with using a impact wrench. Tested the new blade on 6" weeds and no bogging the engine, now will see with 1 1/2' weeds.

I must think I am rich.. Ordered something before thinking.. but will use it and happy to have it..

I have not used this one yet.. it is a heavy duty blade and everything is as advertised. I could have gotten it for about half of what I paid maybe even less has I not thought I needed it in 2 days.. even at that, its a deal for the price and Stens has always been a quality product..

Craftsman blade

Poor quality

Very weak material was used to make this and it would not fit my mower due to holes drilled in wrong location. It isn't hardened steel like my original blade. Very poor replacement.
