This Blade Lock Works!

I am very happy for myself and anyone out there who has wanted support for restricting their 3 Blade Lawn Tractor cutting blades from moving while removing or installing them from underneath the deck (not removed) while the Lawn Tractor is elevated by a jack made for elevating it. This Stens 750-058 Blade Lock really works! It is SMALL enough to be installed for left, right, and most important MIDDLE Blade block & removal and mine has not failed or been damaged yet! Attaching the Stens 750-058 Blade Block for MIDDLE Blade block and removal/installation and DAMAGE to the Stens 750-058 Blade Block during Blade removal/installation were major concerns for ME when I was deciding on whether or not to purchase the Blade Block. I am glad I chose to buy it.

Worth every penny

Using this device to change your lawnmower blade is extremely easy and so much better than using a block of wood. I can't believe how many years I struggled with a wood block to change the blade. This device is sturdy, easy to use, and versatile. Worth the price!

Well made to my surprise. Have used blocks of wood to stabilize the mowers blades in the past. This should b an easier process hopefully. So will follow up later. Think is a good purchase however.

Could be great with 1 small change.

Definitely safer than a block of wood or using your hand, but my mower deck has a raised lip/ridge where the clamp mounts. I tighten the clamp down as much as I could and it held even though there was only a very small contact area. If the clamping surfaces were on pivots or made of thick rubber, it would be able to adapt to more mower decks.

Good Tool To Have Around But Not A Necessity

I ordered this to change out the blades on my Cub Cadet XT1 42" lawn tractor. While its good to have, I was able to get the blades off used a block of wood, so I never used it and I ended up returning it. Still, if you change out blades often, this would be good to have so you don't cut yourself or anyone else. Recommend if you change out blades often, or if you are extra safety conscious.

It works but needs improvement

This device actually works. It held the blades while I used a wrench and hammer ro break the blades free. The concerns are with the plastic t-handle and screw tip lasting mofe than a few uses. They don't seem to be very strong.

works like a charm !!! Stops Blades dead in it's tracks

Couldn't do it without someone helping me. never got it done in the past - BUT NOW - with this simple tool I've been able to do it by myself !!! A snap !!! easy as they come............. love it.

Flimsy metal.

$30 to throw in the bin. Poorly made for the job. Won't even ask for a refund. Wasted enough of my time. Don't buy it.
