not color in the picture. It’s more of a burgundy than a purple, not as vibrant purple as it shows.

The material is a fleece feeling. It is stretchy and comfy. Color is not as vibrant I. Picture.

THEY CHANGED IT. No longer as advertised. WRONG FABRIC

I have purchased many of these dresses over the years. Unfortunately the quality has gone very far down. Now it is in the wrong fabric. When I first bought one of these, it was 92% Polyester, 8% spandex and was fantastic (my original review below) I got several of these and they are all fantastic. I wanted to get more because I literally wear them all the time. (And some have stains now. I need to replace.) The ones for sale now are listed as 69% Polyester/28% Rayon/3% Spandex Which would be sort of ok, although not as good as the original fabric. However what I ACTUALLY received are dresses that are 95%rayon and 5% spandex. They don't hold their structure, they are see-through, and sag. Same brand, same cut, same model number, same color but just made of an entirely wrong material. If you are small breasted and skinny, it is still a nice dress. But it is no longer good for a full figure. Review for the 92% polyester version: Flattering in the chest and tummy, but those with any back rolls get a size up. Not overly long. If you want a casual sundress, this is great. The material is light but not too thin. It may be see through in very light colors, but I have the red and the purple and there is no issue. It is great to accentuate the chest, and it does a very good job disguising the tummy. The one place it falls short is the rolls just under the bra in the back. Because of that, I would recommend getting one size up if you have back rolls. I wish the sleeves were just a little longer, but they are otherwise roomy without being baggy. The length is good for me - 5foot 4 inches tall; covers my ankles but not my feet. I think it is just a tad short to be a real Maxi dress. But for anyone under 5 foot 4 inches, it should be fine. Taller women will find it is more tea length. You will want to put a stitch or safety pin in the front to keep it from being too reveling or showing your bra. But also because f the empire waist, you don't always have to wear a bra. (I am a size F cup and I often wear it without a bra.

It’s a nice dress for the price and if your shorter then 5’’4 , it might be too long for you cause I’m 5’4 and it’s really long on me

The picture is a seafoam green

Dress came and it is truly more Jade (green) than blue. Even though it wasn't exactly the color I wanted, It looks good on me and not TOO green.

Fabric is soft but very thin. See through in the light. I would keep it if it were cheaper as a house dress, but too expensive for what you actually get. Disappointing. Also, runs small.

Very flattering, feminine versatile dress in a gorgeous lipstick red shade - a perfect three season wardrobe staple

I absolutely LOVE this flattering, feminine, versatile dress in a gorgeous lipstick red color. The dress is tailored enough to wear to work or on the town depending on how it's accessorized and the fabric is substantial enough to be a near three season dress. It does run a little small so if you're between sizes, order one size up. I only wish this dress came in 3/4 length sleeve version for cooler weather and in other colors/prints. I'd gladly buy it in black, gray, navy blue, cobalt blue, hot pink, berry red, kelly green and/or floral patterns - it's that nice.

Perfect around body

Perfect around body, but at 5'5'' this was entirely too short. Not midi length, not grazing ankles, just an awkward fit for a maxi dress. The twist knot on the front is a cute detail though.

It looks great on me

I am to be a maid-of-honour at the wedding of a friend. It will be in the summer and probably very hot. My only requirement for a dress was it has to be purple. I ordered this dress and not only did it fit properly, but it looked elegant even in a t-shirt type material. It looks great on me! I would recommend this dress for anyone. I am heavier and it hid my "love handles" nicely! LOL

Bargain dress turns out to be a winner!

This was a ridiculous impulse purchase the night before leaving on a cruise. How good could a $20-something dress be? It was fabulous. Wore it three times. It fits wonderfully (make sure to have a push-up/low-cut bra on) and is very flattering. Is ankle length on me (i'm 5' 5") and the boyfriend loved it. So did I.

Great dress for plus size girls!

I love this dress. I ordered it in black to help hide some of my flaws! It fits good, not to clingy and is nice and light weight. I am 5'10" and the dress comes down to my mid calf. Not super quality fabric but still good for a summer/cruise dress!
