Game changer for people with glasses.

What? You can buy prescription goggles -for cheap-? I'd heard of these before but I always assumed they were a couple hundred bucks. Not so! My eyes are pretty bad, -6.75 and -7.25. I ordered the -7 pair in smoke (I wanted clear as I swim indoors, but they only had my prescription in the tinted). I'm planning to get LASIK/PRK this fall, but you're not allowed to wear contacts for a while before having the procedure, and I can't very well swim laps in croakies. I don't know that the effects would be as useful for someone with a low prescription (but then, why would they bother even seeking these out?), but for a high prescription they're kind of a miracle. Can I see the details of the lifeguard's sunglasses when he's up in his chair? Not really. But I can read the clock and I can find things underwater and I can see across the pool well enough to know which lanes are free. Also, the seal is good, so yay for the goggles goggling.

DO NOT BUY if you have good vision

These are for people without 20/20 vision. I did not know that. I can't look through them without massive distortion.

Great fit but requires finesse to exchange nose pieces

These goggles came in those clear, hard plastic sheets that sandwich products that you need to get out using a pair of scissors or a knife. There is an easy access for these goggles, however. It can be easily popped out. The goggles are very comfortable and come with a variety of nose pieces to adjust for the perfect fit. I had to loosen the straps and replace the nose piece with a medium sized one in order to get the perfect fit. It did take me awhile to finesse the nose piece out of the goggles and to loose the straps a lot but once that was done, I could see perfectly with the correct prescription. My calculated prescription was for -7.5 but I got the -7 ones and I can see well enough to navigate and to read text that is not too small or far away.

Two halves make a whole

Since eye surgery, one of my eyes is very different in prescription than the other (-5.0 and -7.0 i.e. really strong and even stronger!). So I bought two pairs to "break" in half to make two proper pairs. This works very well indeed. Near-perfect vision under water, much better than my old goggles with my pre-surgery prescription. I'm still changing out the various nose pieces to get the best fit, but all are better than any corrective goggles I've worn in the past. Anti-fog coating is "OK", but not any miracle. Still need to spit, rub, rinse if you expect to stay fog free-for an entire swim.

Almost as good as my glasses

I try to swim 3 days a week for fitness and training for triathlons. My eyesight is pretty poor so when I take my glasses off I am unable to see things like lap timers. I tried these out and they fit the bill perfectly. Close enough to my prescription that I can see clearly in and out of the water. Price was right. Just what I was looking for.

Gamechanger!

Gamechanger. Some decades ago, I stopped swimming primarily because I was getting too blind to see -- going to my usual pool alone was hazardous, and going to a new one alone was impossible. Fast forward to now.... I have gone to the pool every single day since Amazon delivered these awesome goggles! They aren't my precise prescription, of course, but they are more than enough to swim safely. Also, these goggles are quite comfortable -- I have kept them on for hours at a time without complaint.

Non capisco perché non commercializzano questo tipo di occhialino anche in Italia, per l'Italia la speedo vende prodotti meno professionali (per quanto riguarda i graduati) per chi fa nuoto agonistico sono perfetti, hanno una buona vestibilità probabilmente sono i migliori occhialini graduati in commercio, ormai compro solo questi
