Drawstring?!
Great shorts; Although, I found it to be my civil duty to the online community of shoppers to mention that if you’re looking for an ACTUAL DRAWSTRING CLOSURE (AS PROMISED) in the description ????, you’re out of luck; I was kind of annoyed to find it’s only for decoration and that Amazon/the seller neglected to mention this. Overall, they’re great quality basic shorts, which is to be expected from Southpole. At least you get what’s advertised in that regard ????

Cute shorts but seriously oversized
My boy is 5 49” tall 50lbs typically wears a size 6 in most brands. However I ordered these shorts in your size and they were huge not just a little big but huge. So I sent them back and got a size 4 because the shorts are very cute and for the price you can’t beat it. Let me just say even the size 4 are big on him he would fit the 3 easily with a bit of room to grow. And I would suggest ordering three sizes down for your kid to get a good fit. Other than that the shorts are very cute seem to be good quality and very affordable but the sizing is way off.

Fit perfectly until they were washed
Ordered the 'Light Grey 3' in size 14. They fit my son perfectly UNTIL it was time to put them on again after being washed (cold washed and low heat delicate dried) Disappointing because he loved the color and style. I will just be saving them for his younger brother for when he can fit them. I would say order a size or 2 bigger to prepare them to shrink after the first wash. Other reviews said theirs didn't shrink so I don't know. Could be a difference in the material and color of the ones they ordered. The material is thin (which was nice for our Florida weather) but the waist band has barely any stretch and should be a little thicker than the shorts themselves, but it's not. It is thin as well which could be a problem for more active people. If you have a very very thin child with literally no gut and a boney hip, these may work for you. We really did like them but they shrunk so I will be sticking to levi's for him from now on.

La talla 12 fue perfecta para mi hermano que tiene 10, no le queda justa y le va a durar más tiempo. La calidad esta normal. Además no es muy grueso, tampoco muy delgado
