Reversible, lightweight hat
I debated buying this hat for a couple days because I own so many hats, but then Amazon had a limited sale, so I decided I would at least try it. I like my other Sunday Afternoon hats and visors, mainly for their packability, and this one advertised that same feature. I like being able to fold down my hats to nothing and put them in my pocket or in the tiniest spaces in my bags when no longer needed. This Sunday Afternoons Clear Creek Boonie caught my eye for its hint of color, where the other hats I have are more neutral shades. I bought the lavender/pumice color, and appreciate that is it reversible for those days when I'm out and want to change up the look mid-day. I would say the lavender color is as seen in their pics.. the reverse side is a light shade of gray, not nearly as white as depicted. The removable chin strap is easy to flip from one side to the next. The adjustable strap on the back is great to make sure you get the perfect fit. The negatives: the hat is wrinkly, could almost use some ironing, maybe that'll wear out with more use. Also, the brim is pretty floppy, so it doesn't hold any shape you try to force it into. Lastly, there is no real venting due to the lack of mesh on the sides that some of their other hats offer. If any of those are a big deal to you, I'd recommend you check out other hats. Overall I'm happy with it and do recommend for those on the fence. The brand itself is worth exploring.

I bought the hat not knowing how it would really look or fit and was pleasantly surprised. I loved it! It was an attractive color (the orchid/gray on both sides) and really easy to flip over from one side to the other. The brim was nice and wide and it had a nice "flop" to it for a "boonie" hat. Women's Boonie hats aren't always that attractive, but I really liked this one and wore it a lot. The chin strap hit me a little funny around the ears, but I have a little head. I wore it in some really high winds (over 30 mph gusts) and only had to grab it a couple of times when it was in danger of flying off from the back to the front (again, I have a little head), even with it tightened down as small as it would go. I didn't have any issues wearing it around my neck, because I just hung my sunglasses from the chinstrap indoors when I took the hat off. The weight of my glasses counterbalanced the weight of the hat perfectly. No choking. I wore it over my hooded sweatshirt in a sudden thundershower and it dried in a matter of a few minutes afterward. It kept my head and neck nice and dry. It was really nice to have it in the bottom my bag for my whole trip.

Colorful and versatile!
I like the jade color of this hat. Most are so neutral and this one is bright and cheerful. But still gives gray as an option by moving the neck cord to the other side. I haven’t worn it yet but fully expect to wear this for the next 10+ years.

Nice
I love the color, and brim size and strength on this hat. It’s almost perfect except I wish it had tabs to hold your glasses. I have this feature on other hats and it’s such a useful/functional addition that I’m surprised I bought one without…but still..I wear it..

Nice product, but needs a stiffer brim for my needs
Love that it’s totally foldable/packable. It does a great job keeping the sun off of my face and neck. However, the brim just isn’t sturdy enough to stand up to breezes/windy days. I’m going to have to look for something with a stiffer brim because this one keeps flying up, exposing my face to the sun— which negates the point of the hat. I think it would be great for hiking in the woods because there is not much wind there, but I would not recommend this for the beach or any other windy conditions.

Great Quality
I love the reversible option, great colour choices too! The brim is a good size to provide shade, it's breathable, lightweight and has a strap to help keep it on! It's a great hat for the garden, camping, fishing, etc. It is packable, but the brim doesn't always bounce right back to it's original shape. This doesn't affect it's purpose though.

great hat
This hat looks great, and can pack down and then goes right back into shape. I didn't measure my head, but I'd say I'm medium, and I wear a medium helmet. This hat just fit, with a little room, without tightening it. Keep that in mind, if you have a large head. All in all, a very nice hat.

Love this hat. Especially the fact that it is reversible. Looks super cute on too.
