Works as described!

I have no issues with this thermometer. I love the magnet on the back as well, so I can just stick it on the fridge when I’m not using it.

Works as it should

The thermometer is easy to use, works as it should and was a great value for the price. I mainly use it for grilling steak and chicken. The temperature appears accurate and no issues the handful of times that I've used it so far. I like that it has a magnet on the back to stick to grill for holding when not in use.

Would not buy again

We bought this because we needed another thermometer for thanksgiving and just bought this one because of the low price. It was very slow to update the temperature and the batteries did not last 3 months. (It was only used for the one day) I have a couple of other thermometers that the batteries are a year old now. This leads me to my next complaint about this product. The battery, well batteries, yes 2 of them are the 2032 round (computer batteries). I'd much prefer something that had a more 'standard battery" AA or AAA. Would not recommend this product (I see that it is currently unavailable, I can understand why)

Threw it away

I knew taking a risk on this was just that, a risk. I should have been smarter and tested it out as soon as it came rather than taking it out of the box on Christmas morning to use on our rib roast. When I opened it and turn it on by opening the probe, the thermometer just started beeping fast and the display just had 8’s on it. I opened up the battery compartment and went to look for another battery of the same type. Unfortunately I only had one, but putting that one with one of the original ones it seemed to work. It would display the temp and not rapidly beep. I put the compartment back together and placed it in the roast. The display showed 32.9 but then jumped to 49.3 then 51.5 then it would bounce between 49.3 and 51.5. The roast had just come out of the refrigerator so I knew it should be close to the 32.9 temp. It would never stabilize. Then after a minute or so, the rapid beeping started and the display went back to all 8’s. At this point I took it out and opened op the battery compartment. I noticed if I was holding the batteries down in the probe, the device worked. I placed a small piece of the foam in the battery compartment on the backside where the metal doesn’t need to touch, and put the cover back on. It seemed ok, for about 30 seconds. At this point I text a friend to see if they had a probe and then tossed this in the trash. Do not risk a real cook to this thermometer. Saving money is always wise, but this isn’t saving money. Go with something else.

ok product

not the best not the worst. Originally ordered 2, I was only sent one. I did a request for shipment and today got an email that I would be charged yet again.... maybe I just should have gotten the expensive one to start with.

You should not buy the product

The product arrived on time, well wrapped, easy to use. But after the second time I used it, it broke in two when I cleaned it. Then I saw that its plastic is made of very poor quality that is not suitable for a product that is used at high temperatures. Very disappointing.

Life changing

Got this so I could stop panicking about chicken killing me or over cooking. Love it. Cute quick and easy. Highly Recommend Do not get the pink part wet !
