Cute and easy craft for kids
My kids love doing projects and this one was easy enough for them to do mostly on their own. This butterfly house is a nice alternative to the many birdhouses we have already put together. While this doesn't require any power tools, I do recommend using glue and some of our pieces that are meant to lock things in place are a little on the loose side. I am not sure how well it will last outside, but we plan to hang it an area that has some coverage. There are small tubes that can be filled with flowers and things to attract the butterflies. We are looking forward to trying this out when the weather gets warmer and to welcoming our first butterflies.

Crafting time with the whole family
This item arrived in a timely manner & was as described. They will enjoy building this bird house. It has everything you need in the box. It seems to be sturdy & made with quality panels. This is a good value for your coins. This item would be a great gift for any occasion. Hope this helps, Ann :/

Cute activity for kids - won’t last outside
This is a really cute activity for kids but unfortunately the reality is that this little house won’t survive outside in the elements. Once out together it will either need to be in an enclosure if you’re raising butterflies or outside but sheltered from the weather. It’s made out of a thin wood that’s almost like cardboard so it won’t hold up to rain. This house is really easy to put together. We had a 5 year old and a 7 year old working on it together as a little activity. The house goes together by snapping the tabs together of each side. I would also recommend glue in some areas just to ensure it’s secure. There are also little pieces that go in the bottom so you can hang the twine on them for the butterflies to rest. There’s also a spot for little plastic tubes where you can put flowers to attract the butterflies to the house. Overall it’s a cute activity and affordable, although I could also picture this in five below based on the quality of the wood for the house. I’m hoping this upcoming spring we can hang it some place and attract some butterflies to our house!

Fun Craft Project But Hang In A Sheltered Location
This is a fun little kit for youth or adult alike. I got this for my wife for her butterfly garden. It went together pretty quickly. However, I ended up using some drops of superglue to keep the retaining “lollipop sticks” from sliding out of place. With the butterfly stickers, this looks really nice. Note that despite my picture, I do not think the unvarnished wood will last long outdoors in the sun and rain. I recommend that you hang this somewhere in a sheltered location like under an eve so that butterflies can access it but it will not be exposed to sun and rain. Also, the butterfly stickers tend to fall off in the hot sun. Note that the small water tubes are designed to hold live flowers to attract the butterflies to the butterfly house. We have not yet had any butterflies move in yet, but I guess that’s more up to them than me!

Fun project for my 2, 4 and 6 year old.
Although its suggested for 4 yrs and older, I did this with my 3 kids and they loved it. We found it was easier to decorate it first and I let them each color a side. The construction was easy to let them each slide in the slats. The butterfly decoration was a little meticulous and took a bit of me helping them and tying the twine. (Hard to keep the 2 and 4 year old from grabbing the glue dots before we were ready and making a mess) We'll have to see if we get any butterflies though because it's fall and I think there are more out in spring. I'm not so sure this will stand up long to weather, though. We will see.

Cute craft for kids
I bought this for my 6 year old niece who loves art and crafts. I like that it is something a little different from all the bracelets and suncatchers and usual crafts you can find in the store (nothing against those, but she's done them all!). It looks easy enough for a 6 year old to put together and decorate mostly by herself (she might need a little help making sure the pieces are secure), and it is such a fun idea. It's winter now so not sure if we'll actually be able to see any butterflies yet, but I hope it works in the spring!

Great little project.
The kids loved building this little house. It’s a good project to get the kids off their electronics and doing something else. Giftable.
