Perfect fit!

These are great. The material is sturdy, yet soft. I’m 5’8” so work shorts typically fit like a bad Fred Durst cosplay. These hit at the knee and don’t have too big of a leg opening. I’ll definitely be picking up a few more pairs.

Comfortable

It takes a few washes to get rid of the stiffness. These are very comfortable shorts. I like the small lower side pocket for cellphones.

I like the fit and comfort of this shorts. The material attract lints easily though.

Not slim fit.

They fit as expected as far as waist size goes, but they aren't a true "slim fit." They just aren't as loose as regular Dickies. Otherwise, pretty much what you'd expect.

Excellent Shorts. Strange Pricing

First (at least in my case) you can believe the manufacturer about sizing. I wear size 32 and size 32 of these shorts fit. At first I believed some of the reviews and ordered a 33, which fit but were bigger than I needed (not surprisingly since they were 33 and I wear 32). So my advice is to buy whatever size you wear normally. Second, the instructions say "hand wash only." Fat chance. The only thing I hand wash is my hands. I put these through the washing machine along with everything else and they came out just fine. I could do without the silly little crease in the legs but maybe that will go away with time. As to the weird pricing--I bought two pairs of tan for $24.95 and then tried to order two pairs of grey and found they were $32 and change. Same pants, different color. Go figure. I found a better price for the grey ones on the Dickies website. Sorry, Amazon.

Bought size 32 before, but had to return as it was more like a size 29 or 30. So I decided to go for two sizes up (34). Fits decent with some space, which is good. Looks stylish and slim fit as the ad describes. Just make sure that when you receive your item, and want to return it because it doesn’t fit, not to remove any tags or stickers!

Good quality

Great quality for the price really like a shorter pair of Dickies trousers hard wearing . Look more expensive

Fits small. Incredibly stiff out of the box. Zero flex.

*Consider buying a minimum of one size up from what you might normally wear, or two to be safe. My usual pant size wouldn't even get close enough to attempt to buckle it up, it's that significant.* I was so startled by the sizing difference I immediately went and weighed myself lol. Cons: Straight out of the packaging they feel like they're made of tree bark. Very stiff. Might soften in the wash, I guess we'll see. Zero flex to the material, that's just a straight up lie Pros They're the length I like. Metal fasteners The material is thick and stiff enough that it feels like they'll last.

Fir great, look great

Originally ordered a 32" waist as fit was supposed to be "true to size". Maybe because they are really nicely stitched with a good waistband they felt a little tight so returned and ordered the 33" waist. Oddly they came with a 32" label but were larger than the original shorts and fit really well. Highly recommended, Dickies shorts have always lasted really well, these slim fit versions fit well, feel comfortable and look great.
