Such a beautiful copper sink...But...

Ok...my review will be from a slightly different perspective than most. I have always wanted a copper sink but I knew I could never afford to pay the full price. So after saving up some money, I found a "USED" copper sink marked "Very good". I anticipated there was some reason the sink was returned, but I did not expect so much damage. One entire corner was folded like a napkin! And the sides had caved in. I was very surprised by the extent of the damage for a used sink marked "Very good". Still, a little voice inside of me said, "You can straighten this out". And sure enough, after a couple of hours, I was able to bring the sink back to "almost as good as new". It still has a couple of minor blemishes, but I will never be bothered by those minor flaws. I will only enjoy my beautiful new copper sink and think of all the "love" I put into it to straighten it out. Sinkology does make a lovely copper sink. The packaging seems adequate, but evidently could used some improvement.

Wow!

Ok, I read the reviews and they were mixed.... Well, that is just plain crazy. Opened the box and this sink can only be described as breathtaking. It's heavy and beautiful. My cabinet installer said he had never seen a sink that was so pretty. Paired it with an expresso butcher block counter top, hickory cabinets with oil rubbed bronze pulls and bronze single lever faucet with sink sprayer. It pulls the copper tones out of the bronze hardware. Looks amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

If you want a designer look that says this is not some builder grade material, but custom because I'm worth it...a copper sink...Wow

Exactly as stated

Beautiful and exactly as described. Well made and sturdy. Only thing that would make it better is if the 4 wholes were a bit further apart. All the fittings are clustered in the middle. There is room to move each an inch or more further apart.

Timely, beautiful, what I expected- classic

We looked for a long time, compare prices and even looked at apron front sinks but decided on this product because of price and look. It met our upgrade budget and gave us a whole new kitchen look. Very pleased.

Sink is beautiful, but missing and broken items suck

I have modeled my entire kitchen around this sink. I ordered this a few weeks ago and when I received the sink it was missing items and had a lot of oxidation so I figured it must have been a return. I returned and requested a replacement of the exact same item. I got my new shipment today and the accessories are still missing and the sink is damaged. See the pictures. It was packaged great which tells me it was damaged at the factory prior to packing. I requested another replacement and Amazon couldn’t do that so I had to get my money back and now go look for a sink elsewhere. It’s disappointing I’ve been going through this for about a month.

NICELY HAMMERED COPPER SINK

We purchased this as an ugrade to our kitchen, which has Ikea wood counter tops. This looks very impressive against the wood. Also a bronze faucet was purchased. Grandma is very pleased. The negatives. This sink was pounded out in India, and i presume to North American standards. The drain cups are very difficult to install. the drain area is very smooth and lacks the area for the cup to sit in. I had to hold the cup while the plumber tightened the lower mechanism for holding this in place. Plumbers putty was used and one side needed to be done twice to seal the drain to the sink. The manufacture produced an uneven setting of the sink to the counter top. Out of alignment of the outer surface. This problem has been addressed in a previous post. The imperfection fortunately is at the rear facing the back splash. The tie down bolts at the rear are awkward. You need to very careful when placing the faucet and you do not have the sink flex in the wrong direction. We had to place shims under the faucet hole to prevent the down pressure on the copper. Then adjusted the tei down bolts at the rear. We are grateful for our plumber who is very knowledgeable and did a great job. If you spend this ammount for an upgrade we would reccommend a proffessional to install.
