Highly recommend gluing pads onto plastic holders with contact cement

Seem to be holding up well. Highly recommend gluing pads onto plastic holders with contact cement, vice just using the pad adhesive. Without the cement the pads can slide off, especially with heavy floor use. Old fashioned contact cement is awesome (& cheap $).

For a felt pad with a screw in feature I feel like this was the best option as we tried many ...

I have new hardwood floors so we applied this to many chairs and furniture items. For a felt pad with a screw in feature I feel like this was the best option as we tried many different ones. The plastic piece, the felt pad and the drill bit that comes with it is very nice. The only problem is the screws that come with it are bad! I used an electric screw driver and the screws did not hold up at all the Phillips head was too small and they stripped very easily. You will need to get higher grade screws at a hardware store to make your life easier.

Perfect Riser

These lifted our desk just enough that the chair would fit underneath!! The color matched perfectly, so you can't even tell it's there! We didn't screw them into the bottom of the desk feet (but those parts are included), but the desk is on carpet, so it didn't really need those to keep it from slipping.

Works great on laminate flooring

These worked great on my mom's new laminate flooring. We were afraid that the plastic type would damage her new floor, so there were just what we were looking for.

Pad and cup come off leaving exposed screw to gouge the floor.

The plastic cup the adhesive felt pads sit in is a good idea. Without the cup the pads tend to slip off the chair legs. If you screw just a bit too much they will tend to punch through the plastic cup rendering them useless for holding the felt pad on. However after a couple months of use not only did the felt pads come off the plastic cups but also the entire plastic pad came off exposing the screw which left deep gouges in the wood floor. Do not use these if you want to protect your floor.

Still a peel and stick felt failure

the plastic ring (visible in the photo) comes separate from the felt and screw. to install you screw the (overly long) screws through the plastic ring and then peel and stick the felt. I bought these to avoid the peel and stick as it relies on the stick of the peeled felt. I predict it will fail just as readily as the felt disks available without the plastic ring and screw.
