L as MP post enhancement

This is a decorative piece. It upgraded my former black lamp post cover and I like it for purely aesthetic purposes. There is no power in the lamp post. Too expensive and destructive to gig up the ground to connect wires. Have a spot light on my house instead but this is an attractive show piece!

Classic design beveled glass Lamp Post Head with a nickel finish that puts out plenty of light.

This is a very classic looking lamp post head, post sold separately. The beveled glass looks great putting out plenty of light because of the generous amount of glass. Holds 2 bulbs that you choose the wattage depending on how bright your needs are, I use 2 Philips LED warm glow 7 watt bulbs that put out 60 watt equivalent amount of light. With only 14 watts of total power usage I'm amazed how well this Lamp lights up my front yard, I run it all night long every night. You'll need a 3 inch OD post to mount this to, the wiring is easy just don't forget to ground it using the bare copper braided wire all ready attached to the lamp head base. I'm very pleased with the classic look and performance of this 2 light lamp post head.

Matched my other front lights and works fine.

The only negative I have on this light is the fit and finish. There were razor sharp edges and corners all over it. i had to warn the electrician to be careful. Kept it since it met my needs and no one will be touching it but was disappointed.

Doesn’t last

We bought this and the matching set to replace all of our exterior lighting. Within 2 years the finish started to wear away. Now at 4 years they look old and rusted and all need to be replaced again. This is under normal outside conditions. I would not recommend Sea Gull lighting products.
