Beware of Broken Globes

I really like the light fixture. I needed more light for a small bathroom, and this was nice because the width was fairly compact. It also takes 'normal' light bulbs which I REALLY appreciate. The cost of special light bulbs adds up. I had seen other reviews mentioning broken globes, so as soon as it got here I opened it up as I'm on a quick turnaround doing a bathroom remodel with a contractor. Two of the four globes were broken, which is rather atrocious. Customer service said they would get me a replacement in 2 days, and I have 30 days to send the broken one back, which if it works out on that timeline, is ok. The original box was in a larger Amazon box, but there was almost no packing in between the original light fixture box and the Amazon box, so it could readily slide around, which is not good when mailing glass. Hopefully they'll do better quality control. {And I hope the new one doesn't arrive broken!} I'll redo the review if they aren't good on their word as far as getting a replacement here. Finding replacement globes myself would be almost impossible and quite costly.

Love it!

I bought one just like it but with 3 lights on it for a bathroom. And now I ordered the one with 4 lights for another bathroom. Love the look and it looks really nice

Gorgeous but poor packaging

One of the glass globes was shattered when it arrived. After several calls, I got no help replacing the globe. The manufacturer said it was on back order and it would be months. Fortunately, I found a different sconce that had the same type of glass globe but had to pay for it in addition to the original lamp.

Love this light fixture

Bought this for a bathroom remodel. First saw it at a light store at a much higher price. So glad that I checked Amazon before buying it.

PART MISSING

The item had been previously opened and is missing a screw to screw the glass in. It is already installed, would like to have manufacturer send us a replacement screw. Other than that product is great.

Light fixture to brighten up a bathroom remodel

This design can bring out the best look in many style rooms. The only problem I had was the quality of the glass globes. The first fixture came in with one of the globes made with very thin glass, with a crack in it and one very thick glass globe. The quality of the globes for the replacement fixture was fine, and the light looks amazing in my bathroom.

Don’t have this light shipped!!

This light is exactly what we need, as it is from the same series as the the ones we recently installed in our kitchen…BUT…I just received our THIRD one because the other two arrived broken; and guess what? The THIRD ONE is BROKEN also! The packaging this light comes in is GROSSLY inferior, and very, very poorly designed. The breakable parts are directly underneath the top flaps of the box and not protected. ALL three that we received were packed the same way, and all three were broken in the same place…and all shippers just slap a label on the original box and send it. The cardboard is not strong enough to survive the shipping process. Like I said, it’s a great light and looks stunning, but if you want it I would suggest finding it at a local lighting store and bringing it home yourself.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

Remodeled our bathroom and put these lights up above vanity. They look gorgeous! Extremely happy with my purchase. One glass sconce was broken when I received it but was replaced quickly (within 3 days!) I have them hanging the opposite way (glass on bottom). Love it!
