Great octo holder

These are the perfect length for holding your octo close to your bcd. Pulls away in an emergency easy enough. I have a magnetic one and it makes the octo stick away from the bcd to far when diving. This is shorter and keeps it closer to my body.

Nice as expected!

Broke immediately.

I had purchased this with one expectation, that could stretch around the mouthpiece of my octo and hold it securely in place. However the first time I went to use it, it snapped, and broke. I had to resort to placing my octo in my bcd pocket which is not only dangerous but allowed sand and silt into my BC.

Doesn’t work

Bottom line is that this product doesn’t do what it’s designed for. The material has too much stretch to effectively hold the octo. I have tried using this retainer on several dives and my octo has fallen out every time. I cannot recommend this product
