Work use: nice hand-around sheets. Non-work use: covered Quixx score cards and have been using the same ones for over a year with dry-erase pens.

Easy to use

If you just follow the directions (some people have a hard time doing this) everything comes out perfect. Love it!

it's not the real thing - not a true lamination like with a heat machine

It works sort of. But no matter how many times I try, there are always major creases in the lamination. I've studied these instructions but can't quite understand the instructions/diagrams. If you have the space to use/store it, I would get a true laminating machine instead. This stuff is a very distant second best.

Work well for outdoor signs

I used these laminating sheets to make number signs for a community garden project. Of course, it's important that they're weatherproof and durable, and so far that seems to be the case. Just be sure to allow a generous margin of the laminating material around your paper or other material so water will not seep through. The signs have been up for a couple of months and so far they're doing great. The real test will be how they look a year from now, but even if I have to replace them, the price is right. I checked into having signs made professionally by a printer and the cost was way over our budget. These sheets allowed us to make quality homemade signs at a much cheaper price.

Once you get the hang of doing these it's as easy as pie

I used a form of credit card to help with no air bubbles and for it to lay flat. Definitely I life saver with keeping photos or paperwork from getting ruined. I personally used them for photos and the held up very well even when using mounting tape and making a photo wall without frames

These are so easy to use!

I have not had a problem with bubbles with this product, and it's so versatile. I buy the 8 x 11 size and just cut out what ever size or shape I need, I haven't had any problems with them. The sturdy hard plastic protects photos and gives them the rigidity to hold up with any frame. I've framed photos, art work, even encased our Covid vaccine cards, can be used for anything made of paper or paper thickness that you want to protect.

Work best with card stock

I used these laminating sheets for a display I was making. They worked great for items printed on heavier stock but materials printed on regular paper didn’t fare as well. The regular paper kept wrinkling and had to be redone. I wasted a lot of sheets. I won’t use again unless I have items on card stock.

These are good, but quality is slipping (Update May 2020: Better now)

These laminating pouches work great for laminating 8.5" x 11" documents. The document winds up just under 9.5" x 11.5" after lamination. I'm knocking a star off because lately the pouches aren't as good. Firstly, the have little hairs/threads on the edges that will get pressed into your laminated paper if you aren't careful to pull them off before peeling the pouch backing. Also, the paper strip that you peel off to secure the initial left edge of the document tends to tear easily as you pull it, thus making it very tricky to continue securing that left edge without the document getting crooked. But keeping those two things in mind, they do produce a good laminated sheet of paper. Update May 2020: The latest batch is much better, the little hairs aren't there and strip doesn't tear when you pull it. Upgraded to 5 stars.
