NOT traditional Schlage, but a lower-end Dexter brand "by Schlage". Same quality as Defiant.
My old low-cost brand lasted 18 years before the insides disintegrated from normal use. I decided to get something more solid, and paid more for a "Schlage". To my disappointment, it seems that Schlage has a lower quality "Dexter" line, which was NOT explicit in the Amazon description. The Dexter is perfectly adequate, for a low end locket, but it is NOT solid like a traditional Schlage. The latches are hollow metal, and NOT of stainless steel. I feel mislead but since I won't live in the home for another 18 years, I won't change. Next time, my advice would be to compare the WEIGHT of alternative locksets. One issue was that the deadbolt latch had a sleeve to accommodate deeper set knob holes, and that extra diameter prevent me from using in in an impact steel door without boring out the steel.

Would be nice if the were not used!!
The item arrived open and was previously used, and parts were missing..!! But these locks are the best, to bad whoever packed this up and sent to me didn't notice..

Easy to install
It installed easy enough but after I installed the pair I realized there where no keys included. I wound up rekeying the locks with a rekeying kit. Quality control dropped the ball on this one. But it works just fine and I’m satisfied with the as a whole.

Easy to install and much better quality than Kwikset. Both handle and deadbolt have a solid feel.

Schlage JC60 over Kwikset et al
This Schlage JC60 lock set for exterior heavy duty screen door is the best! Looks great, extra heavy duty, and simply a perfect fit. Pricy? Yep, but the quality and durability is worth it. I’m in Lake Tahoe and I’ve gone through three Kwiksets and each of them either bound up or stuck from weather and lots of open and closes. And the stainless steel internal parts make it great. Not pot metal brass like the cheapies.

Not true Schlage products
The reason why the price is so cheap is because you are getting Dexter by Schlage locks and not aschlage locks. Very deceiving the way the are advertised, quality is very poor
