Great purse, small backback

I've been using this backpack for travel for about a month now. It is light weight, well-made (the reinforcing on the straps is very welcome), and pretty. It fits easily under the seat in front of you, leaving room for your feet. The straps are decently padded and comfortable to wear. The canvas pattern is woven, not printed, with vibrant, clear colors, and a crisp design. Did I mention it's very pretty? However, it has some drawbacks. The zippers can be a little fiddly and do not open and close smoothly. The overhanging cover on the front zippered pocket is very snug making it a little difficult to zip and unzip this pocket. The side pockets also fit very snug. While this makes the bag look very nice where there is nothing in them, it make putting anything larger than a cell phone into them difficult. It is a small for something labelled as large. It is larger than the usual back-pack shaped purse, it is a good bit smaller than a standard back-pack. While it will hold my Kindle Fire easily, it would not be suitable for laptops other than the compact sort. The canvas, though nicely made, is not the sturdy out-door type. I would not over-pack this bag, or carry anything extremely heavy for extended time periods. It is not lined and I suspect items with sharp corners or points would cause tearing. Final decision: Great as a purse or personal item on a plane, not suitable for school books, back-packing, or heavy use. I will likely buy another when this one wears out, being aware it is more handbag than luggage.

Beautiful!

I love this tapestry back pack! Its not to big or to small. Its very well made and most of all it's just beautiful. I get complements every where I go. I take it to work with me every day. Its my new favorite bag. I only wish it had more pockets or compartments inside.
