Decorated my house around this runner!

SO happy with my new runner. Beautiful, cushy and the colors brighten the whole house. It's intentionally not perfect in terms of the pattern, which I thought would drive my OCD self crazy, but it doesn't. Could not be more pleased with this addition to our home. PS: It did have that deep in the bowels of a ship smell for the first week or two, but put it outside one sunny afternoon with some baking soda on it, now nothing but smiles!

Beautiful, but stands up to pets and kids

Pro: soft, thick, price, hides spills, cleans easily Prior to this rug, I’d replaced our family room rug 2x in 3 years because they looked dirty.

Well Made for the price!

I was pleasantly surprised with this rug. It's hard to get a decent 8x10 rug for under $300 . Pile is thicker than expected (a good thing) and vibrantly colored.

Great rug so far

Bought another version of these Hamadan rugs in 9x 12 size for family room (in taupe, also 5 stars), and liked it so much I bought this second 8x 10 rug for the living room. I think these are great rugs for the price, though obviously not ‘authentic’ oriental rugs, and so far they stand up well to my cats. Easy to clean, vacuum, and the cats nails do not catch in the rug unlike several previous rugs. There was no odor to either rug upon arrival. They are nice, weighty, plush-feeling rugs that don’t need a pad. I have used some stick-on gripper pads to keep the corners flat on the wooden floor beneath, but no problems with creasing or curling of edges.

Decent rug

I bought an 12'x18' rug and a 5'3" x 7'6" rug. The pattern is not straight on either rug, so if you are OCD about those kind of things, save yourself some irritation and buy another rug. The larger the rug, the more the pattern is off/more noticeable it is. It is really hard to get it straight and line up furniture on them when the pattern is so crooked. I think it's intentional, meant to look rustic and worn, but it just looks poorly made instead. Going to keep them as the wavy lines are mostly covered by furniture, but if they weren't, they would go back. Super soft and fluffy. Very bright red with some pink and light blue bits. (See photo.) In the photos on Amazon, the red seems a bit darker.

Colors are rich and vibrant - thickness good for the price. Craftsmanship seems good also. It really elevates the room.

Great rug!

This is a seriously beautiful rug, and 100% worth the price. I never write reviews, but buying a rug online can be so difficult, and this one really deserves a good review! We have had the rug for almost 6 months now and we have a very crazy dog who does zoomies all over it, and it still looks brand new- not a fiber out of place! The colors are beautiful and really warm up our space, not overly bright and quite true to the listing photos. You can obviously tell that it isn't a really fancy oriental rug and initially I wasn't sure if I loved how the strings come up as individual colors instead of more seamlessly dyed ones (see second photo and ignore the dog hair, our vacuum is broken at the moment), but now I just love it and with the room all together I don't see those tiny details. Overall, really love this rug and highly recommend!

Shapes are off (printed weird, not just camera angles)

Pros: • Great value for the cost of the rug. • Beautiful red color throughout. Fit the vibe I wanted and matched my dark wood cabinets. I liked that the colors were so vibrant. Cons: • Colors aren’t actually the colors. Ex: Up close, the “tan” areas are actually vomit colored threads next to other colors, like an unpleasant green thread next to a pink thread next to a white thread, but if you step back and look at it from a distance, the area looks tan. I tried not to look too closely at it haha bc I didn’t like that. • Design looks stretched - I thought I was getting a rug with two symmetrical stars and a square in the middle, but when it arrived, I realized the design was off. It looks like some person somewhere took a design that was originally correct, decided they wanted it to fit a different-sized rug, and then literally just stretched the file to make it wider for a 4x6 rug. The stars and square are printed in these weird dimensions (aka it isn’t just a camera angle or incorrect file upload in the listing… the rug actually looks as wide as the preview image) I’m returning this because the symmetry bothers me, but if that and the thread colors don’t bother you, then this is a great rug for the price!
