It is a headband
The hat was very small and on a headband which is no issue other then the fact you don’t really know what it is unless told that it’s a hat

This hat comes with a clear headband that's very flimsy, Broke when I first tried to get it on, but don't let that deter you, I just took it off and used a few bobby pins to pin it into place. The hat itself is cute and adorable, fairly decently put together though I haven't put it though any wear and tear yet so don't quite take my word on it. It arrived in a very timely manor and looks exactly like the picture does. The fabric on the whole though comes off as a bit crunchy and odd, not too silky like you might think, but it's not too bothersome since once it's in place you don't really see it for the rest of the night. Overall, Good buy especially if you need a tiny Pirate hat!

Although the head band is very cheap like I've already read from reviews before purchasing, the hat is easily removed from headband to place on pretty much anything u want (two small rubber bands attached to the inside of hat) but I'll probably replace the head band with another one that has the grooves to stay in my hair better. I'm planning on taking this cute hat with me to disneyland with my pirate of the carribean tshirt! Oh and the hat came In good condition, just a bit flat from it being put in a bag for shipping. Shipping also was very fast.

MISSHAPEN - how to fix it.
Hat doesn’t reflect photo accurately, there’s barely a center as shown because it’s sewn together. It was completely squashed and misshapen, luckily steam the hat and pinning it post steam worked out the kinks for the most part. Bows couldn’t be saved, I removed them and put my own on. The head band is useless - ditch it and use Bobby pins. Basically, you have to make this hat work. It can’t be worn as received.

Lol. Check the measurements. It actually was very nice looking. Unfortunately, I was Unable to use for its intended purpose on my head. We used it as a decoration on a cake.

This little hat is very cute in the picture, but arrived flat and a little smashed in the tiny box it came in. I haven't been able to poof it back out, but I got it because the colors match my pirate costume perfectly, so it will be worn anyways. I did see this same hat for sale at my local Halloween store, so a word of advice, save some shipping money and buy it at the store, it will look better too.

Just What I Needed
Great product. Just what I needed to complete my pirate costume for Halloween. Only down side is that the hat itself is more flimsy than I expected.

great value for money
i ordered this hat after the hat that came with my costume arrived and was awful. this one is fab - it gave my pirate fancy dress outift a "sexy' twist and i got loads of compliments. considering how cheap it is you couldnt ask for anything more - the hairband part is clearly cheap but for the price it was much better than expected!

Not worth the money.
Poor quality for the money. The wee hat is ok but the head band snapped before I could even use it. I then had to Kirby grip it on with help from friends.
