You have to tweak it but overall served its purpose

Like one of the reviewers, I had to cut out the forehead and make it look like the hair line was receding. My wife colored the hair a bit. What makes it look real is if you add moss to your hairline and add dabs of green make up so it blends in. You want the moss and green look like it's coming off the hair instead of going in.

Nice Beetlejuice accessory

A little big for my head. Had to shrink the rubber cap part add a few pins and latex. The results are good.

Easy to Customize for Great End Result

Like other reviewers I will say that this is not an out-of-the-box ready item but it isn't difficult to work with and Make it Great! Step 1: Tease the hair. It's kind of long and won't stand up easily unless you tease it (back-combing). easy to do w/ any fine tooth comb. Step 2: Color it. It's very white (more Doc Brown than Beetlejuice). I mixed some $.99 tan colored acrylic craft paint w/ rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to "paint" the wig & make it look dirty. (This also adds texture and makes it easier to stand up). Step 3: Use spirit glue to hold it down and 100% get the liquid latex to cover the forehead seam. [I put a small pile of cotton balls onto my Husb's head to keep the forehead from caving in] Step 4: Apply makeup to the flesh-colored forehead piece (just as you'll apply makeup to the face). You can stop there or continue for more depth and a truer movie version. I bought some green moss from the plant department, cut tiny bits of it & glued it onto the face and the wig w/ Aileen's Craft Glue. I stuck bits of moss into the hair also to make it look dirtier. I added some green "veining" on his face and on the flesh part of the wig. I lightly sponged regular household latex paint onto his hands (didn't have to worry about makeup transfer and it scrubbed off easily in the shower) . We've attended 3 Halloween parties this year and re-used the wig each time with no issues.

Fit was great, front of mask slightly disappointing

I enjoyed this product for my Halloween party. The front of the hat/mask was skin a very light tan color different from the picture. I had to paint it and had makeup done to make it look right. Fit was great, very little bobbling with swift head movements. It did get hot as expected but I wore it 5 hours with only 2 short periods without it.

If you're a large, get extra large. Fits small

I was excited about this costume. Until I decided to get the pants on Then they were too tight for me and I and I wear a large so their large is for some little petite Asian girl or boy girl or boy. I guess but I'm not very happy I mean I wore many ways I wore some stretch shorts underneath black underneath black and no one saw it was a dark rave so dark rave so no 1 even saw but it's very uncomfortable.

Decent wig if you have time and patience!

Like many others here it took some work to get the wig to work. Used a bald cap and then cut the forehead and attached it to bald cap. Just know it’s going to take some work but if you have time and patience you can get it just right. Overall not bad for the price but it definitely looks more like a doc from back to the future type wig than beetlejuice.

Alot more Rick than Beetlejuice

Bought for a Beetlejuice costume since that is what the picture shows. Way more Rick from Rick and Morty than Bettlejuice, who's hair has a fairly green tint and the wig is stark grey. Just be prepared to put some green in it if you want it to read as Beetlejuice.

Completed the look!

I dressed up as Beetlejuice for Halloween for the 2nd time. This time I bought the wig to complete the outfit and it was perfect. People were so impressed they asked to have pictures taken with me! I had a blast!

Looks like the photo, hence the stars

This gets four stars because the wig looks almost exactly like the photo - you're getting what you pay for. The only thing I would say is the wig is SLIGHTLY more blonde in person, which was great for when I spray painted it. The hair coverage itself is a bit thin and the wefts are far apart in the back, but that's to be expected with novelty halloween wigs anyways. It's so poofy it's hard to tell except near the back of the neck, which is where I personally would have liked a bit more hair. I bought this for a Beetlejuice costume and to be honest, this wig is ugly as sin out of the bag. The bald cap is huge, and impossible to blend. It makes the wig sit weird and slightly on top of the head instead of flush like a wig should. However, this wig is VERY easy to make-over into something accurate to the Beetlejuice movie. Great raw material for crafting it into something worthy of a good photoshoot. I cut off the attached wig cap, spray painted the hair green with that temporary halloween spray dye and bought my own bald cap separately. You can blend the hairline into the replacement bald cap with craft moss like the movie and glue it all down with spirit gum (there's one or two youtube tutorials making this wig WORK). Or you can just leave it as is, and it's all good fun no matter what. If you're okay with this wig being a project, it can work, but you will be investing in a couple extras outside of it in order to achieve that, so it might not be the most bang for your buck if you want something movie accurate out of the bag.

Not impressed with the product for the price

This half mask was horrible to fit to a persons face. We ended up cutting it to just have a forehead and hair part. The hair in the back is very thin as well. When we received it the foam was already coming off inside. We ended up stuffing the inside with fibre fill to make it keep its form. Not impressed with the product for the price.

Good costume piece.

Wig is ideal to use as a beetlejuice costume piece. Although the colour is all grey/white and so not completely accurate. I added some green colouring which was super easy. The wig cap is really large so I needed to secure it with curby grips but I guess this means it should fit everyone. The bald cap part of this wig is a really weird yellow tinged skin colour so I also needed to paint it white. Basically this wig is great if you don’t mind customising it a bit.

Poor Quality , Devasting hair loss

Poor quality mask that was damaged when it arrived.bstraps essential to it functioning properly were completely gone and there was not enough hair on it to make it even look decent. If your looking for high quality steer clear of this product.
