Quality Lampshade for a Great Price

This is probably the nicest lampshade I have ever purchased. The material looks antique to include the trim, the liner is thick and well attached, and the pleats are perfectly executed. This same model comes in various dimensions so I could pick the perfect size. It looks perfect on our antiques Irish crystal lamp.

Beautiful but darkens the lamp/bulb

I was looking for a beautiful black lamp shade and it is but I was hoping it was a little more mesh because it doesn’t bring out much light.

Highy recommend, beautiful lampshade!

After spending months going to different stores, buying and returning lampshades that didn't look nice, didn't fit or just looked cheap, I finally have just what I was looking for. This lampshade is gorgeous. The gold color from the inside material glows through the soft black pleated material on the outside when the light is on, giving a warm rich glow. It doesn't show the light bulb shape through the shade at all, just a subtle soft light Excellent quality, design and fits perfectly. It would work for contempary or traditional styles. I'm so happy and thankful to have this!

This lamp shade exceeded my expectations. It is very well made and looks gorgeous on my clear glass lamps. I would highly recommend this shade by Royal Designs to anyone who is "finicky" about their 'tastes.' You will not be disappointed. The price was excellent, also, as good quality does not come cheap.
