Beautiful, comfortable, but fit big.
Keeping in mind the reviews that mentioned the shoe fit about half a size too big, I downsized from 6.5 wide to 6.0 wide and it was still too large. I had about a finger width between my ankle and the back part of the heel. Returning for a 5.5 wide, and hopefully this time they’ll be the right fit. Otherwise the shoe is beautiful, the padding on the inside is also very comfortable.

Inconsistent sizing, but major comfort potential
Here's the deal with these shoes. i am a consistent 9.5, verging on a 9.5W. I ordered the Rockport Women's Seven to 7 Platform Pump,Pebbled leather Black in a 9W, which fit great,and sent back the Rockport Women's Seven to 7 65mm Pump,Black Smooth,9.5 M US for being too small. So strange! So, after hemming and hawing over all the reviews from here and other retailer sites trying to figure out what size would work best for me, i ordered both the cobalt and the Mauve in a 9.5 regular. The shoes feel a half to a full size too small on my feet although there is no pinching, etc. I will likely reorder in the correct size because they are super cute on. Note also that the Adiprene lining is *very* thick on these, especially on the ball and heel of the foot. We're talking almost 1/2" thick on the balls of the feet. These will be rockstar shoes - super comfortable and very cute -- once i find the right size. UPDATE...i just received the 9.5W in wine and not only is it too wide, but it also is too long - fits much more like a 10W. sigh. the 10 regular in cobalt and wine are also far too large. but the 9.5W in cobalt fits great and does not put my toes to sleep. I also ordered the brown lizard in a 9.5W, which was FAR too large. Returning for a 9.5 med. ended up returning the cobalt 9.5 and 10 regs and keeping the 9.5W. going to re-order the 9.5 in standard in mauve and hope i can stretch it out.

Loved This Shoe
I absolutely loved these shoes. The picture of them does not do them justice. They looked really good on my feet, however, I had to return them to Amazon. I wear a size 6 1/2 M and based on the reviews, I ordered a half size smaller (size 6M). The shoes fit perfectly except the toe area was a little snug and after a few hours of wear, I had to take them off. I fell in love with the cushioning in the shoes but that is also what made the shoes snug. I cannot prove it but I think the shoe size was closer to a 6 1/2 with cushions. So, I was determined to have these shoes, so, I ordered my regular size 6 1/2 (closer to a size 7 with cushioning). Sadly, the size 6 1/2 was too big, They felt great in the toe area but there was about a little over a 1/4" space at the back of the shoe which I felt like in the long run, I would end up walking out of the shoe, so, I had to return this pair also. If you can find this shoe with the correct fit, you will have a good looking as well as comfortable pair of heels. I am not going to give up. I will try to find them in a size 6W and maybe that will do the trick. While I am at it, I would like to comment on the Amazon return policy. It is fantastic and what a fast turnaround in crediting my credit card. I love Amazon and will continue shopping with them.

Super comfortable and classy
I love Rockports and these were no exception. They fit as expected. They may be a bit bigger than other shoes that I have of the same size but they fit exactly like my other Rockports. They're the perfect height--looking good while still being easy to walk on. If you're going to buy heals and wear them for more than a few minutes you need these--they are pretty supportive and although your feet might still hurt after a long day it's much less than with other shoe brands.

Gorgeous, upscale shoes, by far
Let me explain the 3-Star Rating: These shoes run quite true to size; however, I don't know what my current size in heels are. I purchased a Size 5.5 (five and a half) because I have problems with my feet; I wore Size 5 heels when I was much younger; my feet have widened throughout the years. I was sadly mistaken. Both left and right heels were too long for my little feet; there was at least a half an inch space between shoe and foot. On the other hand, these shoes were too narrow for my feet as well. Now, on the other hand, let me first remark about the inside soles. They were padded with some typye of technology that made that part of the shoes let you feel like you're walking on a cloud. Not only are the soles extremely comfy, but the leather is so soft and perfect. It has a sort of stonie type pattern which gives these shoes a definite up-scale appearance. I loved them in person so much that I had to shop elsewhere to buy a Size 5 Wide. I'm awaiting them now. If this pair had fit me, I would give them a total 5-Star rating all day long. As for purchasing from this seller, the shoes came perfectly wrapped for protection and came a lot faster than I expected.
