Came as advertised. I was able to fill it with two 3" binder's worth of documents in hanging file folders with no problem. I got the Pendiflex hanging folders in the same color. Definitely built for long term use. I have a few that are over 20 years old and have endured use and several moves.

Holds all my important documents, space saver!

Highly recommend if you are trying to save in space! I wanted to get rid of a huge bulky file cabinet and this did the job! I’m a big believer in downsizing so I’m really happy that I purchased this. Fits perfect on my closet shelf. I would say it’s sturdy and holds a good amount of files. I love that it’s portable so incase of disaster you can just grab and go! I purchased one for myself and one for my partner!

Perfect for My Needs & Beautiful, Too

Over our almost 50 years together, my husband and I have traded off on doing the bills every once in a while. I’m taking it on again, and my blue portable box has disappeared over the years while my husband set up his own filing system which I haven’t found helpful at all. So I found this box, file folders sealed on the sides with 1/3 cut tabs, and removable file folder labels for 1/3 cut folders. The top of the box opens to reveal compartments for pens, pencils, paper clips, rubber bands, postage stamps, rubber stamps, and other small commodities such as a miniature stapler. The Box, with its files & utensils, can be carried from room to room, or from one building to another. I have in the past kept up with funds & records for civic or church organizations and carried them from home to church or other, as well as using a separate box for home bills and expenses. Remember: No co-mingling of funds are allowed. You can also carry records back & forth to the accountant’s office. One really nice thing about this box is its neutral color. It will blend in with your color scheme in any room and yet, the color is bright enough to be visible. In case you have any question, the box part that appears close to white in the drawings or photos is a thick translucent white.

It's a file box. It's portable and sturdy and holds a lot and is visible.

We have two file boxes for our parent-caretaking stuff. Medical files, legal documents, bills to pay, receipts to scan and file, etc. One is smaller - I think I got it at Staples. This one is about 1.5x the size of the other. It's sturdy. It holds hanging files with folders (standard not legal sized). We keep a freezer ziplock bag glued to a hanging folder for stamps and such. It works. I used my labeler to stick a big label on the top and side so when it's put away we know which parent it's for. Also handy for tax filing so you can tote it around, or for managing estates. We don't use files for bills (scan, append to a PDF, then toss) but it'd be fine for that too. Wish they made a firebox this size for important papers and family genealogy.
