Was good while it lasted

I bought this to power my cb radio amplifier. It did great for a while with the amp drawing 45 amps with almost no voltage drop. Then the power supply started making a high pitched squealing sound when under load. Had to return.

Works great for my needs, Bought the psv500 for my ham radio setup. Works great with my icom7300 and at a great price. I would definitely recommend to others

Very good

Very quiet compared to my other PSU and very reliable. Yes, the meters on it could of used a small light but I don't need a meter light to see what the voltages are if you got a meter at hand.

More than enough power, well built

I bought this because it had a colt and amp meter so that I could see how much power I was outputting. It was extremely easy to set up, and there were no querks, or hoops I had to jump through. I have it hooked up to a taramps bass400 powering a kicker 15" subwoofer in my room. I got this because it supplies more power than I need, and it absolutely does. Both USB ports charge very fast (10 watts fast ????) and the terminals seem well built. It also does not easily get hot, but I have not pushed it super hard yet, so maybe if I did, it would. That's about it, it's very simple and straight forward. If you do not need the amp or vault meter, I would not recommend spending the money, there are some cheaper ones without it, but if you do desire that, this is about the best I found.

high quality item

This is a high quality power supply I`ve been using Pyramid power supplies for a very long time and the quality never dissapoint`s . I highly reccomend this as a ham radio operator who only buys quality.

Damaged when received

This power supply was damaged on arrival. Although the power supply output terminals where bent there was no damage to the box or packing. I thought this strange. Anyway I repaired it been a certified ENG. This power supply performs well, the current and voltage meters are accurate and has very little AC ripple. Voltage adjustment control works well 12 to 15 volts DC. I am running three ham transceivers on this supply which I purchased to save room in the ham shack, an ICOM 7300, ICOM 9700 and a Kenwood D710. 26 amps is a breeze for this unit. I have yet to detect any noise or harmonics been generated by the switching circuit. Despite the damage this power supply works well. The fan runs occasionally and it is quiet..

misleading/wrong product information and poor customer care

I bought PSV500 but surprised with below experience; 1. There is Cancer related warning information behind the power supply and on user manual which is not disclosed in product description online at Amazon. In USA my friend bought same power supply no warning sticker whereas i bought and delivered to Canada has warning sticker and in user manual also. 2. Misleads being printed as Switching DC Power Supply whereas descriptions states Variable Linear Regulated AC to DC Power Converter/Power Supply. 3. There is no LED Backlit ON / OFF Switch as described on the product description image at Amazon. 4. Called customer care and they disconnected my call. Sent email and 5 serious reminders but no reply and attendance to reported issue so that other customer may stopped to get fooled or mislead. 5. I returned back the product full with false , misleading features and poor customer care.

Best power supply for the money...

Where can you get a 50W clean quiet regulated power supply for this money? Here! That's where...one minor suggestion to the manufacturer, add a dim lamp to the gauges.

5 star with one minor observation. The meters need to be illuminated in order to see them better especially in poor lighting

Arrived on time as promised, small issues out the box, power on but no voltage output, main switch on/off not working. Nothing that i couldn't solve in 5 minutes, i guess you get what you paid. After a couple test on ripple and voltage drop vs load it seems to work under manufacturer specifications.
